I am Stephen Secor from San Francisco California. I was on a cruise ship from Los Angeles to Aukland New Zealand when I felt extremely painful back pains.The first hero to help me was Doctor Beth from South Africa who convinced me to get off the ship at Tahiti and have an angiogram.The second was Nurse Matt Fuller. He coordinated transportation on an air ambulance to Aukland City Hospital. Many doctors contributed to my surgery with advice and caring especially Amul Sinaloa who did the surgery and even installed a butterfly valve to reduce or eliminate a prior condition. Dr Dylan Palmer put the finishing touches by following up on everything that kept me in the hospital including a large foot blister caused by retained water in legs and feet.I also have to mention the nurses and other support staff who went out of their way and I think beyond the call of duty to help me putting patients first. Even Mike in hospital support helped my wife with many mundane but vital details.In the end, Matt Fuller came back to a full time role to help provide and coordinate follow up care.In short, I am recovering well because of the caring professionals.Thanks,Stephen Secor
