We totally enjoyed our lunch on the run. Our meals were yummy, and along with the Naan bread and rice, was more than ample for the two of us. We were warmly greeted on arrival and were seated and served quickly. Our waiter was extremely efficient and overall, was a very pleasant dining experience. The reviews are mixed for this restaurant so I guess we got lucky and caught them on a good day.

Worst Indian food we have ever eaten! We ordered a butter chicken, all we could taste was a sweet tomato paste. The prawn vindaloo was tasteless and despite being a seafood item; there was no salt in the dish. Would not recommend this place to anyone! Stay away!

Complete rip off. Decent Taste but tiny curry portion. Size of each curry was even less than than half of what you get at any Indian restaurant. Won’t go unless have money to waste. Advice to management - improve the portion size !

Was here on Sunday for lunch. Had their lunch offering which consisted of a veg curry, naan and plain rice. It was pretty filling. Food and service at the restaurant was very good. The restroom was clean. There were not a lot of customers at the time I was there, but the few who were there seemed to enjoy their meal.

I came in with a couple of friends for a quick lunch and catch up. Overall not a great experience. The place had no atmosphere, there was no music and it was really dark. Our server was rude and argumentative. Portion sizes, especially seeing as our server told us the rice and naan were complimentary so all we were paying for was the curry itself, were very very small.Really sad because this was my friend's go-to restaurant and we've all been really put off. Will not be returning.

It has been a long time since my wife and I had lunch at Tulsi but it was as good as we remembered in the past. It wasn't busy, waitress was very polite, calm and efficient - chef who brought the food out was cheerful and nice - portions were a good size - everything was tasty and pretty good value for money - all in all a good place to go for a tasty curry for lunch

Used to love this place so much and ate here quite often last year. The staff used to be so friendly and the food used to be really good too but I went yesterday and I've decided never to go back again. The portion sizes have halved, the taste is completely gone. Out of my entire meal, all I enjoyed was the lemon lime and bitters drink. I order Malai Kofta and Garlic naan, and the drink. Everytime before this visit, they would let me upgrade my naan without charge if I cancelled the rice and the waiter refused to do so this time or even to check with a superior if it was a thing. They charged us a dollar for a tiny little plastic container for takeaway of leftovers, which has never happened before, and the container was clearly not even worth more than 20 cents. While paying for my meal at the counter, I offered some friendly feedback on how I felt that restaurant had changed since the last time I'd been there and the waiter became absolutely defensive and started arguing about how their rice and naan is complementary and the meal price was only for the curry and the containers are so expensive and how their food is cheaper than elsewhere. I honestly disagree because the the tiny little dish that cost me 9 dollars wasn't even worth it. Next time, I'm just gonna take a walk further along cuba and pick a different restaurant. I just told him that I'm just trying to give constructive feedback and whether he takes it and improves his restaurant or not is up to him cuz like I said, I'm never going back there again.

Definitely worth the visit! We ordered butter chicken and it was delicious. We've tried many butter chicken restaurants around NZ, and this is probably the best butter chicken I've tasted.P.s if you can't handle spicy, get mild. I got medium and it seemed hot to me but still sooo good!

Food was alright, really spicy if you want. Costumer service was really nice but it was a very quiet lunch time. It is a huge space, nice comfy chairs and big tables. We had the special lunch menu which was really cheap around 9.50 nz $ and it comes with rice and nan bread.
