Ivan was helpful, professional, and his service excellent. He converted a Marin Stinson and a Colby Cruiser using quality products. They were ready when promised. We have test driven them last Sunday when we got them home and are both extremely happy with the end result. Can post pics of the Colby Cruiser if requested. Would highly recommend. The e-bike range is not huge, but they do carry extremely affordable bikes compared to the wider NZ market.What makes them affordable is probably the e-bike capacity, they're a bit smaller, but my experience is, if you don't try them out, you won't know if they can't do the job. As a plus, they actually bring the bike to you for testing which is a huge advantage for bike testing.Ivan was very helpful to answer my questions and the transaction went seamlessly. He also provides a year's warranty so I can get the post-sales help if required.Definitely check them out if you're shopping for an e-bike.

Very happy with the helpful service and after 250km of commuting to and from the city in Auckland I am thrilled with reduced time for the commute and, best of all, not needing a shower when I get to the office. Very happy. I think the Tongsheng torque sensitive unit I bought through Ivan at Ride Electric compares well with the Bosch mid drive unit I test rode prior to going with Ivan. Not disappointed at all!

Ivan completed the electrification of our Nihola bucket bike. Its not a bike sold in NZ so was somehting new to him, but he completed the installation quickly and professionally. The bike is transformed now, plenty of support for the hills of Auckland and our kids love getting out and about in their favourite bike again! Thanks!

Found these guys on-line and pleased we used them. Very accommodating with an initial test ride at a place that was convenient for us and Ivan tailored the solution to suit our needs with the Rev 01 conversion kits and up-sized batteries fitted onto our existing bikes. Ivan was also very helpful in sourcing lights that run off the bike battery. Really bright - a great safety addition.Thanks for a great service. Highly recommend!

Ivan was very helpful providing me with all the information required before I embarked on the conversion kit purchase. The Kit went onto my bike without a hitch and works really well. With the torque sensing function it fells very natural. Much like riding a normal bike but with the legs and fitness of someone 20 years younger than me. I would recommend this option to anyone who has a good bike that they want to get some use out of while having some fun.

Thanks so much Ivan for your support and for a great upgrade kit. The torque sensing is just like the main stream electric mountain bikes I have ridden We put the kit into my 29 inch Merida ourselves not many issues. Road with the group and blitz them so much fun.Would recommend ride electric and Ivan.

Very happy with the decision to turn my Giant Rove into a part-time electric bike to smooth out some of those hills. Ivan was very responsive and gave options for the fit-out. Only comment is restricted times for drop off and pick up, but was able to work around that. Bike converted in one day and have had some great experiences on it.
