Hays - Recruitment Agency Wellington

I am a candidate for Hays who put me forward for a role ... and left out info to the client ( on my reference ) on the basis it was not relevant to the role. But it was very relevant. Highly unethical.Plus tried to manipulate me into signing a contract with Hays before confirmed written offer from the client. I wouldn't touch this agent /Hays with a barge pole.

On-hires involve 3 parties; the Contractor, the HR company and the Client. Each party has a duty under common law to act toward the other parties in good faith. Disagreements may arise from time to time. These should not be used to terminate contracts without due process.

I spent quit a period of time submitting a detailed CV, answering their questions and interviewing at their office with very poor follow up on their part. At first the company offering the position was not interested and when I clarified a schedule requirement they were. But there was never a final determination or conclusion, was the job mine or not, simple. And those conversations are now two weeks old. I won't speculate on the reasons for their poor communication. It could be the person responsible for my case" is in over her head. But given their apparent apathy I've determined I would not take any assignment they offer. They need to understand with the unemployment numbers as such

Spent a lot of time applying with CV, cover letter etc. got invited the next day to their office and spent even more time there to sign up, pass some tests etc. with the promise from Asher Prestidge that I’ll get to work in a day or two, even giving me with PPE. I only needed my former employer to confirm through their system that I was employed and probably also providing some details about me. After this was done and hearing nothing from Asher I emailed telling I’d be ready to work and everything was done, he messaged me the next day (Friday) telling he’s working on getting me a job to start on Monday. I then asked for updates as there was no follow up and again the next Monday saying I need a job soon and otherwise to just give me an update, so I could keep looking myself. Both messages where ignored and still no further updates ever since. A waste of time and if I wasn’t promised work I could have kept looking to find something else. Don’t trust them.

works 4 days in 2 weeks... Didn't have enought money to paid my backpack and had to go to the free food. I call them every day and the always said me that's I have to wait. Sometime they said u that u will work and at the end they call u back to said thzt u will notFoe other people ib my backpack was nice. But for me not.

Signing up with Hays has been great. Always met by friendly staff mostly dealing with Katie. She found me work straight away. Always keeping me in the loop with extra work in the evenings or weekends. Very quick to respond to any queries. Can't fault them. Would recommend.
