Most probably the worse Indian meal I have every had.I tried the vegetarian roghan josh, I think it would have tested nicer out of a jar from the supermarket and the heat strength was delivered medium after I asked for hot.Had to ask twice for our drinks that came ten minutes after our starters. The manager was arguing with a staff member in the restaurant...never good!Tables either side of me were also complaining about their lack of service or wrong orders!3 people at my table and 2 thought the meal poor and 3 thought the service was dreadful.Never again!

Great food, good serviceElegant decor. Lots of people dining there so, it must be the place to go on Dunedin. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and return next time I'm in town.

Unfortunately they gave me plain wheat roti rather than the Tandoori Parantha I ordered and payed for. Also, the meat in the goat curry is dominated by fat and bone. However, that's what goat meat is like... and the sauce the goat resides in is awesome, plus they were super cool about me wanting my takeaway in my own container. I will go back. I do recommend eating here.

This is 10 dollars lunch special. I need to pay extra for a naan. Other India restaurants I tried , I deserce much better. Also unfriendly service maybe as cheep meal. Never go there anymore.

This is always my first stop for dinner when I'm in Dunedin. The curries are amazing - boldly flavoured and actually original. The staff are very friendly, service is quick, and the atmosphere is welcoming whether you're a student, a business traveller, or a family with teenagers.

Decent Cheap Indian. The night I went they were serving a reduced menu, due to having a big party visiting later. his meant there were only two vegetarian options, but it looked like they normally had more.I ordered my curry hot, but it was not particularly spicy

Tried this Indian restaurant during our holiday in Dunedin. The restaurant was okay and the personnel was quite friendly. The food was delicious and will definitely recommend the food if you are looking for an Indian restaurant with good food. Took off two stars in the review as the opening time stated on the door was inconsistent with the reality. You never know when the restaurant will be open and until when as the owner can decide on last minute that he will close the restaurant earlier if there were only a few customers around. The glasses were partially chipped but were still being used for services.

Absolutely amazing curry. I went about two years ago, and the curry was like any old takeaway. They must have changed management or something since then because this was really good. Chunky meat, layers of flavour, genuinely spicy. A great atmosphere too.

I've been here twice and both times the service and food quality was consistently good. Not oily and a good amount of heat for me in the hot beef saag. I can't remember what the naan is called but it had coconut and sultanas in it and it was the best one I've had so far in Dunedin.I mean, we left with a smile on our face. The ONLY thing I would recommend is that they filled our water jug. Sure, we could have asked. But if they had done that they'd be getting 5 stars from me ☺️
