Animal Emergency at VSA

We are truly grateful to Molly and her team for taking such good care of us and our boy in his final moments. Saying goodbye so suddenly to our fur child was soul shattering but the compassion these incredible women showed us in our darkest hour will always hold a special place in our heart.

Initial consult for cat refusing to eat or drink due to tooth abcess. My own vet closed on sat. Saw vet who gave pain killers for cats not eating, gave hydration and was good. BUT...she told me to contact my vet on monday morning for a further rescription for the paineds. If they didnt have any, to contact VSA and they would give a prescription for the firther 2 days. When I did that, asy vet didnt have any pain med, VSA tolde it eould be a further $300. I paid $450 on sat. This was monday morning at 9.30am. Talk about a scam. I would never go again. Worth travelling to another vet emergency.

On March 30 th. 2022, our Much Loved and Loyal Fur Baby Jezabelle, crossed Rainbow Bridge to the other side, and will wait Patienly for all her Family to join her one by one. For our Family it was a very sad day, as she showed no signs of pain, however after returning from filling my car, Cecily told me Jezz had started wimpering in pain. We rang our Local vet for advise, but unfortunately it was just after hours. I lay down with Jezz, cuddled her and told her I loved her, and she passed in my arms within 10 minutes. Our Family was told of the news and all arrived. One member had used the Animal Emergency Centre before, and said they were excellent so we took Jezzy to them, and the whole team came out to receive Jezz, and we were all impressed with their caring professional attitude, and kindness shown to us and Jezabelle. The prepared Jezz for final journey, and arranged the Cremation and the return of Jezzys ashes, and the Love and Devotion they all showed us with a beautifully worded sympathy card signed with Love from the whole team overwhelmed me. While reading the Pets Pray within the card, I burst into tearsThe Animal Emergency Centre, are top Rated by our family. This team really love animals..

A week today I had to part with my fur baby Benny. These things are never easy and the hardest thing for a pet mum or dad.The team at VSA were amazing, took their time with us, treated us with sympathy and empathy and looked after my baby with care and love.They got the ashes back to me promptly which I have appreciated.Thank you VSA team I would definitely recommend you to others xx

All of the staff I dealt with were super lovely to me and my cat. Even though they were pretty much at full capacity they found space to see me. They were great at explaining everything to me and very patient with my scared cat. Really helped ease my mind with his treatment plan.I know the mystery around the price of going to emergency can put some people off so I'll share I was charged $220 for his consult & $58 for fluids.

Lost my beloved furry friend in January. It was one of the worst pain I’ve ever experienced. He spent his last hour at the clinic, the staff at the clinic were very professional and compassionate. Thank you for the kindness & the heartwarming letter.

Central Park Drive staff have been absolutely faultless. Moe is an absolute professional. Hazel and the nurses have all been totally lovely to both us humans and animal. Thanks team.
