Don't get me wrong, I love Nandos, but the Lower Hutt store is probably the worst in the country. Very often it is fully or partially closed (despite the advertised opening hours), they are usually sold out" of a bunch of menu items

You can't order some items online. I had to go in and get some food. I was left waiting for 20mins before I could even make an order. Looking around the room, every table was waiting for food. Didn't look like the staff cared at all. Complete waste of my time to not even get food in the end.

Update Dec 2022: Food was great. Very moist chicken, flavourful and chips were delicious.Service was fast and friendly, but food was average. Chicken breast was quite dry but chips were nice.

If you're looking for some delicious, mouth-watering chicken, Nando's is definitely the place to go! Despite being short-staffed during my recent visit, the staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating. They worked tirelessly to ensure that all customers were attended to in a timely manner, and their positive attitude truly brightened up my day. The food was simply amazing, with a variety of wonderful flavors that had me coming back for more. Although they were short-staffed, I was impressed with how well they managed to maintain a high level of service and quality. All in all, I had a fantastic experience at Nando's and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food and wonderful service.

We had Nando’s for lunch today. The chicken was moist and tender, chips delicious and the garlic pita so yum. But the highlight was the Greek salad. It was fresh and tasty with generous proportions. Highly recommended!

A big fan of Nandos. Great chicken, crunchy fries, good service and atmosphere. If you love your chicken, you should have nandos. The peri-peri sauce makes it special.Definitely visit again.

Tried their new Mozambique Smokey Paprika meal; it was nice. But their bottles of catsup were all sticky on the outside, I had to wash my hands after holding them. A little attention to details like this wouldn't be too much work

Went to order, was advised that it would be at least 25 minutes wait for our order. They had no peri peri chips or standard chips.Now only take card, no cashLeft and went elsewhere in mall and had a good catch up with a friend

Nando's Lower Hutt
We tried Nando's Lower Hutt last night for dinner & we were surprised at the negative reviews we had read prior to trying it. The staff were friendly & helpful & the chicken & chips were very flavorsome & cooked well. Based on this visit, we would happily recommend to others.
