Auckland Performing Arts Academy

Our granddaughter is now on her 5th production with APAA.It is the best opportunity we could have ever given her as she has grown in confidence in the last three years. Her highlight of the week is attending APAA. She loves it so much!The professionalism and the directorship of APAA is exceptional. They select highly talented teachers in all facets of musical theatre. They are extremely good with children of all ages and communicate well. As a family we love to watch the children perform on stage and APAA produce outstanding shows every time.

My son has attended APAA training for the past two years and has taken part in several shows. The training and organisation of the company is of a very high standard and I would recommend to others without hesitation.

APAA provides the most phenomenal experience for the students, I couldn’t recommend the programme enough. The shows are beyond belief, it’s easy to forget you are watching kids it is so professional. The experience through the semester is very well-organised and provides the students with so much opportunity to build their skills, I would go as far to say it’s changed my sons life.

The APAA team are very professional, great communicators and talented, dedicated staff and teachers of all the 3 core areas Muscial Theatre in dance, singing and acting. My 10 year old daughter is into her 3rd production with the team after first watching The Sound of Music production. She has been hooked ever since. I look forward to seeing the final performances each semester and recommend getting your kids involved in APAA if they have an interest in theatre or even if they wish to lift their confidence and life skills. If not, I also recommend just getting along to enjoy one of the performances and enjoying the shows as part of the audience.

Apaa is a wonderful environment for growth in youth theater, and an excellent experience for anyone looking to take the next step in performing arts. Their shows are very professional and we have loved both being apart of the crew and audience. I recommend this for any young theater enthusiast.

Fantastic production attended Sunday afternoon 18th July Disney High School Musical".The cast was so good you would not believe they were amateurs.Over 100 in the cast who were very polished and obviously enjoying themselves. Can't wait for next production "Cats". Well done AAPA.Now"

APAA has given both of my children the incredible opportunity to be part of a professional and immensely entertaining stage production (Cats, 2022). The way the APAA team bring the children of all ages together on stage is amazing, and they do so with such passion and dedication! We are now onto our second production (Grease) and the whole family is excited about the shows at the end of the year! We will no doubt be with APAA for years to come! Thank you x

Our daughter has only been astudent of APAA for six months, but she loves it so much. In the short time she has been there, my daughter has learnt so much that she could not achieve with the other music schools she has attended before. Every performance is a time for all the children to shine. We are amazed at how far we have come in just six months and our daughter has already asked for ongoing enrolment. We look forward to seeing the changes in development and skills in the year ahead. An amazing class and an amazing teacher.
