Green Cabs (Taxi) - Auckland

Been a nightmare dealing with this company through airnz taxi service. book a cab for 4 and later on received a call from them says their car is not big enough, I assume their cab only can take 1 passenger. Then ask me to ring air nz taxi for refund, after waiting for over 30 mins on call, air nz says for refund have to speak to the cab company. Most terrible cab ever dealing with, hope that's will be a negative rating so I can give to them. Not dealing with them again.

Cancel the appointment 15 minutes prior the booking time. There is no responsibility from the driver. If you want to be on the airport on time, don't use this company. Here is my booking ref. 068985.Again and again.12/12/2019. Today, my van was cancelled again due to it need more 30 minutes to pick up. I have to hire 3 cabs instead of the van that cost. The cabs doesn't open Air conditioner in this hot day.Bad service ever !!Here is my job number 078389

Never use this service if you want reliability and your cab to turn up on time. Booked a taxi for the airport at 6:45AM. Green cars called 5 minutes before to say the cab was running 5-10mins late. In fact the driver was more than 20mins away according to the app. Driver canceled trip on me and I tried to contact Green Cabs by phone twice to get a replacement car. No answer. This made for a very stressful morning as I’m travelling with a young children and now running very late for our flight.

Despite us booking ahead and telling them the destination, the driver spent the first 5 mins asking us where we were going and trying to find it on Google maps (taking the meter to $4 before we set off). Then the driver took a convoluted route, taking all sorts of detours from what Google maps recommended (even though Google maps takes the shortest and quickest route). Then when we stopped the he stopped the meter, added the extra $1 for whatever (a tip or something?), taking our total to $35.40. He took my card and quickly made the payment via paywave, but I saw that he charged me $37.40 on my card (adding another $2 for no apparent reason). I asked what the extra $2 was for, and he said it was a card fee... I've converted to uber.

Booked a Cab via the website while in Australia for pick up at midnight from the Airport, got a message on arrival that the guy was there waiting for me to only find when coming out of arrivals can not find the driver - called him and told me he was dropping someone else off and will be back in 20mins!! Very disappointed, will not be using GreenCabs service again. PS, I did not wait the 20mins and jumped in a waiting cab out side that ended up been a better price anyway.

Incredibly poor service. I booked a cab the night before for a flight, not only did the cab not show there was no call or advise of cancellation. As a consequence I missed my flight.When i called them the booking was there and the guy on the phone seemed confused as to why no driver had shown. Extremely poor form.

Booked a taxi with Green Cabs (Auckland) as they advertise being able to provide seats for Children. First trip (Airport to Half Moon Bay) they provided a baby capsule which is too small for an 18 month old, and yes the age of the child had been made clear to them during email booking . When I inquired about getting they right sized seat for a normal 18 month old child for our trip they acknowledged they don't really have sufficient seating for Children and suggested I should cancel the booking and find a company who can guarantee the right child seat. They were very polite about it the whole way through but it was still a very disappointing and frustrating experience so I won't be using them again.

First time using Green Cabs Auckland... general pick up at airport... what a driver, from the moment I caught his eye David 311 what fantastic, i cannot speak highly enough of him. Professional, smiling, happy, engaging... knowledgeable and nothing a bother. On our return I booked Green cabs and requested David 311, he arrive exactly on time with a big snail and first name greetings... Keep up the good work Green Cabs - David should be given a commendation!! Kevin

Used Green Cabs twice today and the service both times was excellent. Both rides were booked using their brilliant app. The first one was booked the day before and I got an email confirmation immediately and then a text when the driver was close and another text when the driver arrived. The second ride was booked for ASAP and it was great that I could track where the driver was and was also provided with his mobile number. This driver was super. I was feeling really unwell so I couldn't be bothered giving him directions for a faster route via back streets and was prepared to sit and chill in rush hour traffic while he took the main streets. However, he took exaclty the quick route I was thinking of, and even a detour that avoided a huge queue of traffic. Will definitely use these guys (and their app) again.

Absolutely appalled...booked a taxi, it didn't turn into the street for the pickup address, I'd been notified of the number plate so I knew this was the cab id booked. Went to just walk to it and watched the driver just drive off with a different passenger....no biggie I'd waited 15 minutes by now but I called up and explained what had happened to the office, they claimed to send someone else straight away and told me they were 3 minutes away. After 10 minutes (grand total of 25 minutes) I called office again to inquire they told me the driver was 'almost' there and that he would give me a call. My total wait time got to 30 minutes before the driver called me and told me he was still approx 10 minutes away. I cancelled the trip while on the phone to him as I wasn't going to be waiting 40 minutes for my preferred taxi company when there are faster options.I was very very disappointed as I did end up missing the start of my meeting.
