The Gums
This is the roadend carpark that is used for access to the Te Puia Track up the Mohaka River to The Puia Lodge and the Mangatainoka hot springs and campsite in the Kaweka Forest Park. There is a small shelter here with information about the trail, river, hot springs, hunting and fishing. The road in is gravel and there is a Ford to cross at Makahu Station so the road may be closed after heavy rain.
