I ruptured my achilles end of last year. Acuphysiohealth was the 1st place I came across that took my ACC and had quick openings. I ended up really enjoying my time there!! All of the staff are really chill and fun to be around, and they're very gentle and friendly. My ankle healed faster than I had anticipated! I worked with Joey and Jimmy and they were fantastic. I'm so grateful for their help and I recommend giving them a try.

I saw Jimmy a few weeks ago with my tennis elbow. The recovering process was slow at first but Jimmy kept reminding me to be patient and give my body time to do its thing. Thankfully I took his advice. After a few sessions the healing speed picked up and now I have fully recovered. Since then I have been praising him to everyone. He is the most thoughtful, detailed acupuncturist I have ever experienced. He puts so much effort in treating his patients and really knows what he is doing.

I lost my balance, whilst my lawn mowing activity , and fell heavily on my right thigh and thence sciatica from thigh to foot on my right leg. I was prescribed pain killing pills that along with some pain relief came adverse side effects that troubled me enough to seek other health remedies. A catheter helped initially with my pee and bowel needs. Both the side effects of the pain relief drugs affected me mentally and physically. The warnings of these drugs, that is, the cause and effects became a real concern to me. I was bedridden for four weeks with the catheter and pain discomfort, and weeks of sleepless nights, constipation, listless and weak, wobbly and drugged-tired out days. Physiotherapists advised exercises, though encouraging, the drugs were adversely affecting me.I wanted and needed something different.It was at this time that my wife suggested another physiotherapist with acupuncture skills. I made an appointment with Manurewa Acupuncture. Jason was my natural therapist here. I am most grateful for his skills. At last with no more drugged out days and positive relief from acupuncture sessions, I recovered from my sciatica pain and associated unhealthy problems.Subsequent to this experience, whilst moving heavy furniture, I damaged a costal cartilage in my left rib cage, so with the help of Jimmy at Manurewa Acupuncture and Physiotherapists I have recovered from this pain, too.So with my accidents and recovery care of natural methods at Manurewa Acupuncture and Physiotherapy, and my return to herbal remedies, I am much healthier and happier and grateful.Also, I am sure the welcoming and friendly service by the receptionists, made my appointments helpful and happy.Most Kind Regards, John Kilford.

I visit Auckland occasionally as the city provides an existential relief from my home town of Christchurch.I wandered into this clinic after advice from a friend of mine. May was good explaining why areas of my pain were coming from a lower area. Joey was rushed but still did the physio part on my neck and shoulder.And Jimmy, I started with was very precise and gentle and did a great job. Cupping was new for me and helped circulation. Acupuncture also was new for me and drew out toxins.Overall a very great team of therapists doing their best to heal everyone. Thank you.

Would not recommend. The physio who did my “treatment” didn’t communicate what he was doing and the purpose of it. I was pretty much just left in the room with vibrating and heat pads put on me while he attended other patients which felt unprofessional. However the receptionist is lovely.

I had a complete knee replacement on July 17th and was going to a different physio and was not making any progress. My gp recommended Acuphyiohealth. Joey did a great job, every visit I saw progress. My gp wanted me to get 120° but with the help of Joey I achieved 130° exceeding my goal. The whole staff here are very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I never dreaded going in for therapy, not even once. I will highly recommend them to anyone who needs physiotherapy.

I had a horrible experience, with the hot rocks treatment. When they removed the rocks, it had burnt my skin. He said nothing. On finishing the treatment, he went to leave and i told him he left needles in my ankle and then proceeded to say Sorry i forgot" and then removed them. The receptionist helped to dress my wound. I was in so much pain

Manurewa acupuncture is a very good place to go it has helped me recover places on my body very well and fast. I would like to thank them very much and recommend other people to go there. I loved my first experience there and the staff are very welcoming it is awesome. I am currently recovering from shin splints and it is still healing. At first I was skeptical that acupuncture would help my back pain I had suffered for years and had just pretty much accepted that my back would always hurt. It took about 3 months and I'm happy to be able to say that I'm still pain free still today. I have stuck with these guys since then and been going them for over a decade now. They’ve never failed to fix me up. I am into all sorts of physical sports so I’m always injuring myself and going to them with ACC. These experts really know what they are doing. I highly recommend giving them a try. Once you do you will stick with them like I have!
