Our Lady Of The Alps - Catholic Church

The Church of Our Lady of the Alps is a small Catholic church located along State Highway 6 just as you enter the Franz Josef Village.Built in 1951, this is a single hall building of simple construction. The interior of the church is nice. The interior is simple and modest. I liked the stained-glass windows. Given the convenient location, its easy to pass by for a quick 2-3 minute visit to see the The Church of Our Lady of the Alps.Note: There is a Saturday mass held at the church at 5pm on the first weekend of each month.Note. With short walking distance, there is also the historic Anglican Church of St. James. It is also worth a quick look-see if you enjoy visiting churches and old buildings during your travels.
