Used Bus Hire NZ for a corporate golf trip from Auckland to Tieke Golf Estate. The driver was very friendly, enjoyed chatting and was very flexible with our requirements.I would highly recommend this company.

Hi hired 2 buses for my wedding.I get a call on the morning of my wedding fully ready walking down my driveway. Bus driver is yelling that where are we. He was at the wrong address which was given to him via email. Now my groom and groomsmen are late.We called the bus driver to come pick us up after church he yells at us that the itinerary that was given was not the same via email.I had emailed everything and this experience was the worst.Bus driver with a attitude.Photos of busses that look like intercity coach. Buses were very old.Would not hire them again.

The most amazing experience with Bus Hire! Hired for our wedding, staff were great with communication and any questions we had were answered within the hour! Driver turned up on time which was great. Paid our invoice in full and was contacted the next working day for our refundable bond, didn’t even need to reach out!Absolutely stoked with every part of the booking, highly recommend!

We hired a bus to get our wedding guests to and from our wedding ceremony - unfortunately the weather had other plans and we needed to change our location and time of the ceremony on the morning of the event. The team were easy to connect with and whilst they couldn't commit immediately (which is understandable!) They gave me comfort knowing they were looking into it and would get back to me shortly. True to their word they did and were able to bring my booking forward by an hour and get our guests to our revised wedding location. After the event, the team were very proactive in seeking to return the wedding bond, actually needing to chase me to give money back!! Thank you to the team for your great customer service and last min tweaks!

We used Bus Hire New Zealand for transport to the annual conference gala dinner, held in Christchurch. Great service and communication from the initial booking and to picking us up and return back to the city. Highly recommend them.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE UNRELIABLE!They will take your booking, your money, confirm the service and then with just over 24 hours until they need to show up, they cancel. When you have 30 people who need moving for a Xmas function, this is not ideal. They cited 'Covid' as the issue this time, but I have booked with them twice before with our other companies (prior to Covid days) and had the exact same issue. They offer a full refund but it is little comfort when you need to move 30 people around.I would save yourself the stress and get a reliable company!As for your reply....i said just over 24 hours and other than save it" there was no language used that was bad. You have not worked for me 7 times

Vety stressful to deal with the team. I paid 100% deposit to hire a coach for a group of international travellers this Sunday and was told to have the drivers contact confirmed by Friday. It's now less than 24 hours for them to land in wellington, but still haven't received the drivers' contact. The 0800 is not attended email not responded. Where's your commitment of the service? At least someone to give me a call to explain, than just silence??

We used the team at Bus Hire for our wedding. The transported our guests to and from the wedding. They made the process very stress free, they have very great prompt communication. From the first communication until the day, I was very happy with their service. I would definitely recommend using their service for anyone needing to organise transport.

Do do not hire a bus from this company! I booked a bus a month in advance to transport 30 kids to their year 13 graduation ball. The bus was running so late they were not going to make it in time and all the parents had to drive at the last minute. I rang the company and all they could say was we will give you a refund which is obviously not very helpful when you are trying to move 30 kids during a specific period of time. I want to be clear as to why it is the companies fault and not driver error. I spoke to the bus driver who had texted me to say he was running 45 minutes late. The reason he was late is that his previous booking was running half an hour late to get to him. The company should never have booked two time sensitive appointments so close together. In addition, If one client is running so late you can't make your next booking it should be your policy to leave them to public transportation and not penalise the client who has done nothing wrong. I will be asking everyone at our party to write a negative review of this company.
