Thank you for the most amazing dining experience! The whole evening was perfect from start to finish! From first walking in, first impressions were great. I loved the overall vibe, the music was chilled, and the simplicity of the decor with the brightly coloured wall hanging was just beautiful. We were warmly welcomed and our service from Aby was exceptional, he was friendly, had time for us and was generally a top guy (who is great at singing 'happy birthday!'). The food was out of this world, we had a main course each and dessert. All the vegetables are fresh, organic and grown on site and you can taste this in the quality of the the food. I thought the bright colours on the plate from the great selection of veggies was fun and was a nice touch alongside the of course amazing taste of the food of itself. The chef is also clearly very talented! Desserts were like no desserts we had ever tasted. My friend and I had the rosemary creme brulee and deconstructed lemon pie, both wonderful. Lastly, I would like to compliment Aby on his cocktail making skills! The espresso martini is delish and involves a special, unique twist compared to a regular one. I can highly recommend, thanks again!

My husband our daughter and I had a beautiful Sunday lunch here, the food was delicious and presentation was fab, service was fantastic too. Only reason I haven't put 5 stars is the layout of the restaurant is a little confusing (entrance way wasnt obvious) and decor of the building is outdated. But otherwise Francky your food rocks especially the crispy pork belly and the rosemary brulee

Celebrated my birthday dinner at St George's and their chefs 6 course menu did not disappoint us at all. All dishes were very tasty and colourful! You can adjust the tasting menu to your liking, which I thought this is quite nice. The best part was that most of their veggies served are all grown on their lifestyles. This restaurant is quite sustainable on its own. Had a super full tummy afterwards.

We booked at St George’s Restaurant for our friends 80th Birthday Lunch. Whilst the food was fabulous we were so disappointed with the welcome and table service. We shared on entering the establishment that is was a significant birthday celebration and cited this a few times throughout. At no point was the birthday acknowledged by the person waiting the table. There seemed little to no interest in us. We felt very embarrassed by this as it was our gift to her.We also found it difficult to find the restaurant as the sign has fallen over- a simple A board as a temporary measure would’ve been helpful. We would not return to the restaurant and would not recommend it to other not because of the food, but the service.

We had another amazing dining experience at St George's. Excellent menu, very good service, lovely flowers on the table. Extensive list of drinks, even Misha's Vineyard Riesling.Chef's choice 5-course degustation dinner was very interesting, colorful and so yummy. Highly recommend it. All dishes were very nicely presented. The dinner sure made our taste buds dancing.Another great points are: easy carpark, clean premises, relaxing kids friendly atmosphere, Sunday seems to be a great day for dining as not too busy. The prices are reasonable and the cuisine is worth every cent.

Wonderful experience - extremely well presented plates with a delicious taste. Prices seemed a bit higher than I expected, but we got quality food as a result.Only negative was the location was hard to find. The sign was hidden behind a bush and we drove past the entrance by mistake. Only after we walked up to the building did we eventually see the sign.

Just had an amazing experience with friends, the 5 course lunch was incredible and I highly recommend. Compliments to the Chef. Each course was a surprise and it was literally a visual feast . 90% of the food is grown on site and yummy. Kayla our server was a delight and looked after us so well, we will be back. Thank you for a memorable day.

This was fine dining. 92$ for the six course menu. Which basically included 4 entrees items and a main (steak) with a dessert.First had the tempura prawn 2 pieces and delicate with a nice taste. Then came goat cheese and dogs. This was quite a strong taste from the figs and pickles. Then came Ora king salmon which was slight sour but tasty with the salmon take some of the sourness. Then came the sorbet likely from the dessert section. Quite sour as well but good for clearing the mouth. Then came the steak which was perfect medium. However small in portion.Lastly creme brûlée. The custard was slightly not to the texture.I also had a flat white which was rubbish more like instant coffee. 5$ Plz avoidAnd had a virgin mojito. This was rubbish as well for 12$. Plz avoid. The server was unfortunately a new recruit who struggled with explaining the dishes. However tried his best to make it up.So for about 110$ with any alcohol. I was not impressed and would rate about 2.5-3/5 for taste and value.Secondly it was a cold night and inside was really chilly. Had to ask the servers to get the fire going which was not even simmering when I arrived at 6pm. This was an easily fixable issue. There r better fine dinning restaurants in Napier.

Second time eating here. Without doubt the most balanced, seasoned food I have experienced, in an intimate, lovely atmosphere and surroundings . The service is on point and not in any way intrusive. Gorgeous food and presentation. The chef is outstanding in his/her palette , presentation . Front of house staff are delightful and also knowledgeable of wine etc I must go to restaurant that is calm and a wonderful Kiwi Deñight
