I would like to thank griffin health care for providing me an employment. I am very proud to be a griffin employee. To reply to the reviews, I agree there are few griffin staff who do use their phones or are still learning, but that does not mean all staff are like same. I have handled many difficult situations for which i have got compliments and appreciation from clients family when they have seen me care for their loved ones. I have prevented many falls from happening despite not having much experience on my initial days . A griffin staff has to learn everything in less than 2 month. It is unfair that a DHB HCA who has worked there for more than 2 years give such bad reviews to us griffin staff who have to learn a lot in few months. There are more than 60% DHB employees who are foreigners. I myself am a DHB staff now. And I have learnt alot from being a griffin staff. I am proud to have worked in griffin healthcare.

I've been employed with Griffin Healthcare around 3 years now. During this time Griffin Healthcare have ensured my skills and knowledge have been inkeeping with the various places I have worked in, by providing me with the necessary training to be equipped with the ability to manage and handle various situations. Working in diverse healthcare settings for Griffin has expedited my professional growth and made me well versed in handling difficult situations.I've also been given the opportunity to be a part of various training programs, particularly in dementia care, patient handling and mental health. Griffin have also helped me with my education in Advanced Healthcare and Wellbeing.Communication with Griffin staff has always been easy, prompt and clear. They have always supported me and fulfilled their commitments toward me. They offer flexibility in work schedules which has worked well for my routine.From my experience, Griffin Healthcare are great employers, professional and are lovely people to work for. I would definitely recommend them, if you are looking to work in an environment where you can learn, grow and excel.

I have been working with Griffin healthcare for the last 3 years and I have been fortunate enough to be a part of the organization.They assisted me in my training in dealing with patients having dementia, disability, or mental health issues. We were trained personally with qualified nurses and trainers, to de-escalate patients, when they get agitated or restless. They always email the staff about recent updates in the healthcare sector, like new techniques to tackle patients, explaining challenging behaviour et cetera.Recently I have completed my study in health and well-being in advance support level 4 with the help of griffin healthcare. They were nice, supportive and corporative.The staff in the office is awesome, it is too easy to communicate with, the most important thing about griffin is the Flexibility of shifts, we have the opportunity to give our availability of shifts according to our comfort zone.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Firstly this company employs unqualified people so they don't have to pay the actual HCA/RN rates in nz. Since most of the workers are unqualified, esp the HCAs

Very bed service and don’t know even job in hospital .. all the time playing with phone and if some one tell to do some work then argue with Dhb staff in front of patient.. same on
