Have had the heat pump 17 years and I cannot recall when it might have last been serviced. I am a widower and live alone, and as we are approaching autumn, then winter, I was keen to get it done. Gives me peace of mind. The serviceman was great. English is not his first language, and while I am not as deaf as a post, my hearing is pretty poor, but we got on fine. Apart from the fact our heat pump was originally purchased from Varcoe, over the years I have heard numerous people saying how good they are. And my son and daughter in law have only recently purchased a heat pump from them. So, all in all, big ups for Varcoe!!

With my heat-pump of 13+ years starting to make sounds that could wake the dead, I contacted Varcoe by email to request a technician to come have a look. From here, communication was exceptional, with prompt, friendly, replies and a plan forward within 24 hours. With the old unit owing us nothing, our friendly service technician gave us the grim news, that indeed, the old unit was waking the dead to dig its own grave, and while repair was an option, it was going to be poking the bear.The technician listened and heard my thoughts on new units, and shortly after a quote for repair or install of the units I was talking about arrived. Fast forward, I am now the proud owner of a new heat-pump, beautifully installed by job focused technicians, with excellent communication and great work ethic, cleaning behind themselves and taking my old unit away - sad to see her go, but happy to have something a little more efficient and quiet.Highly recommend! Quick efficient service from booking initial appointment to receiving quote & install. Would have to highlight the fantastic customer service I received booking our appointments to the lovely install team. Very professional all round. Highly recommend.

Another fantastic job done by the Varcoe team at my place. Super quick to come back out to quote another 2 rooms. Install booked in and 2 weeks later we have bedrooms which no longer require heaters or fans. So happy to get my floor space back. A little plug for the often forgotten about installer when doing these reviews, Mani and Atul were so nice and kind and communicative during the install process.

They have the best team. Their customer service is top notch, all the way from taking bookings, giving you reminders etc. I had been getting our heat pumps serviced through them for years now, unfortunately only getting to leaving a review now which is embarrassing. Even though they are based in Papakura, they even offer their services all the way upto Silverdale.We recently had Josh service our heat pumps and he was amazing. What a great experience it has been to have Varcoe supply and install a Heat Pump floor console for us. Our criteria were high as we wanted all piping for the internal unit completely hidden and built onto the existing wall.Varcoe delivered above expectations, with great personal communications, a fast turnaround and a fantastic job.
