Noodle Canteen.

Had a large order which was made at a reasonable speed. Served by a kid that looked 12 but knew what he was doing (owners child?). I usually love noodle canteen but at this particular branch the food was very dry and bland, lacking the usual delicious sauce at other branches. I had a tofu option and sadly their tofu was not great... Would have expected a lot better for $11.

Very very disappointed with the honey chicken with noodles .Wish i had looked at the other reviews first.I wont bother going there again. Has really gone down hill big time including the state of the shop and quality of food.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!! I have made a formal complaint with the Gisborne City Council. This owner/occupier should not be in the business of food. Terrible food and service!!! I have read through the reviews only wishing I had seen them before tonight’s visit. Every single negative mention about the food, staff and place is unfortunately true. I actually had to get insect repellent from my car to chase the flies away from me and my children!! My next step is to get in touch with the Noodle Canteen Head quarters. Couldn’t believe I was told tonight by the lady behind the counter that the locals like to eat their rice hard and uncooked!!!I’m sorry, did I just hear right?!Very sad and disgusting doesn’t even begin to describe how awful this food outlet is.

I go here about twice a year and every time it seems to get worse. The meals taste average now but prices still go up.Whole store needs a revamp and a good clean, dust on top of the bug sprayer was almost black with how much there was.There are still children working there, the young boy works the register and sometimes I see him cooking.I don't think I will be back unless there is a major change or new owners.

This place is absolutely horrible and would never want anyone to experience the food and customer service we received. There are kids working behind the counter. The lady that made our food denied a refund and undercooked all the meals we ordered. DO NOT GO HERE

Burnt fried rice burnt noodles coming from Auckland that is not acceptable at all one company one standard

Sad and dark atmosphere, under half the lighting was not working, uninterested customer service, food uneatable. Disappointing

Ordered 2x chicken curry on rice" and received chicken curry FRIED RICE. It was disgusting! Was specifically hungry for a curry sauce on rice and not fried rice mixed with curry powder with broccoli

Ordered honey chicken on rice. Received a bowl full of cabbage, hardly any rice, cooked with way too much dark soya sauce. Did not/could not taste honey sauce. Returned bowl to the shop and gave feedback but don’t think they understood. Gisborne has the worst Noodle Canteen in the country.
