French Cemetery
The French Cemetery is a lovely little place, set with mature native trees and with forest walks to access. Little of the original historic details such as the Napoleon Willows and old fashioned roses remain to be seen.

No tombstones here so a little uneventful. But if you want a little leg workout it is a steep uphill walk here from town!

Little historical cemetery above Akaroa. Steep drive or a decent walk up to it. Small bush walk in the area, too. Some interesting information, and very recognisable names, especially if you have visited the museum first.

I have met many funny ghost death people surrounding this cemetery some ghosts walk out town and having fun.
