You're 100 metres from the beach. We stayed in a self contained apartment which was comfortable & clean. It is a great place for families with a nice playground. They also have bikes, buggies and boards for hire. Lots of activities for the kids. The grounds and facilities are well maintained & staff were also very nice. Few minor issues: the wooden floor boards in our cabins creak whenever someone walks which was quite noticeable at night. No pool or sea view but you're only a short 2 minutes stroll from Waihi beach.Great place for families and l'd happily stay again.

Caravan owners beware...this place is a really tight squeeze to park up in, anxiety inducing, and really not well considered for caravans or larger campervans. Everything was very clean, excellent showers, but I won't be back with caravan. Just way too tight, requiring quite some thinking when busy. Even an extra metre on sites and roadway would make difference. entrance way too narrow also.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The staff were super friendly and good to chat too! The place was really clean, a high standard for a campground! The rooms were quite pricey and not really worth it but that’s not a reflection of the staff there, the camp itself clearly had some issues too with flooding but it was the team there that really made it an awesome stay (and the beautiful beach 2 minutes walk away!)Being dog friendly was a bonus too! :D thanks again to Sandra and the team!

I holiday here throughout the year, every year and it's a great Park and complex with a lot to offer. Very close to the beach, clean and tidy amenities. Great staff. Have been there during some really challenging weather and was well impressed with Sandra the lady Camp Manager who along with her team, made sure we knew what was happening, what the plans were and regularly checked on us. Team were super fast onto dealing with weather bomb related issues and were quick to get camp functional.

A huge round of applause to the new manager Sandra and her team for all their hard work since taking over the reins in December 2022. We own a caravan on site and love coming down to stay…Sandra has made that even better with her positive outlook and can do attitude even while flooding, cyclones and earthquakes test her and the team! Keep up the amazing work!

Tasman Holiday Parks - Beachaven is a great place for a beach getaway. The location is fantastic, right by the water, and the park offers plenty of amenities for a comfortable stay. The cabins are clean and well-equipped, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The only downside is that it can get a bit noisy due to the proximity to the highway. Overall, a great option for a beach holiday in the area.
