We were provided a car promptly and the car itself was great, perfect 7 seater for the family. They met us - we scrolled through T&C's on a tablet and I signed up and told yep when your car's ready just fill it up on return and call us to arrange collection. All good.I rang to arrange return of the vehicle and said cool what do I need to do other than fill it up and she said just leave the car with the panelbeaters. Next day I got a call saying $50 would be charged under their T&C's for cleaning the interior which as it would after a month and a road trip have some dirt on the floor (note rear had no floor mats). I argued I wasn't told when I took the vehicle or called to return it. Otherwise i'd have given it a quick vaccum!Overall great service in getting the car, but you should be up front with what you expect when returning the vehicle especially when i asked on 2 occasions!I shouldn't have to read through the T&C's to discover this.I did try to reason with them that I wasn't told, however he insisted this was covered by the T&C's.So this rating really is 5* for getting the car, 3* for their service which was fantastic until the return.

Excellent service, Samson who runs the Auckland branch is amazing and nothing is a challenge for them, I have used them 2 times in 2 months and its been a fantastic hassle free service each time.The cars supplied have been great too.If the accident wasn't your fault I would highly recommend Right2drive each and every time

Very professional. Arranged to meet at 7:45am, Kato and Earnie both came from West and South all the way over to North Shore before, just that alone can tell you a lot about their service. Level of service exceeded beyond my expectations, hassel-free and could not have been any smoother. Thanks Kato and team!

The call centre on the 0800 is useless, three calls and no answer either time. Eventually got through to Samson at the NZ location, he was a 5star staff member and has been great throughout the rental process.At the conclusion of the rental, same thing, no response on call center line, disconnecting extensions and uneducated staff that don't even know the companies own rental contracts.Overall, only go with R2D if you can't afford to front the rental costs, as you expose yourself to risk of R2D's 4x market average daily rental rates. For any reason if they can't recover the costs from the third party, these inflated rates fall on you, the not at fault driver to pay. I.e a 2018 45,000km CX5 they rent out for $382 a day.

Worst hardest people to deal with. Told them just to deal with my insurance company for money. NO thats to easy.I'll pay for it and my insurance will reimburse me.NO thats to logical.My insurance company deals with person at fault and makes hassle free for me. But these idiots make everything harder than normal.

The service was good and quick. People were friendly and understanding. Paperwork involved could be reduced maybe? I was asked to electronically sign on a lot of online documents. Overall satisfied.
