Pipiwharauroa Trail
Great place to hike. Just be aware it can get really windy at the end (wind farm). The parking lot looks sketchy cause almost nobody goes there, people is more interested in the Falls which is fine. So you might want to leave your car at the Falls parking area and then walk to the trail (is not far, you’re about to walk 4 hours anyways).

Actually not as good as I expected, the views were great but it shouldn't be seen as a Mtb ride, lots of gates, a number of which were locked so you have to heft your bike over high stiles

Fantastic mountain bike ride. Good trail amazing views not too steep and exhilarating downhill home

Pipiwharauroa Trail
This is a great cycle route, the views and scenery are amazing. The climb is difficult and mountain bikes a must. We had E bikes so ok would have struggled I think on ordinary bikes. Well worth the effort.
