This place really has an authentic feel, really takes me back to my holiday in Japan. Great food, very well priced and fast. We return almost on a fortnightly basis after work.

The only thing I liked about my ramen was the noodles. Everything else if meh in my opinion. Tonkatsu broth was bland. Chashu was tender but a bit dry. Egg was just plain and not marinated. Presentation was lacking effort (not even some greenery or garnish?). I wouldn’t come back as I like my tonkatsu more on the salty and heavy side. However the service was friendly and it’s in a good location.

Fantastic tasty food, delivered really quickly. The staff are lovely and it is a tucked away little location with a nice vibe. I hadn't been for 10 years or so and was thrilled it is still around and as tasty as ever! Next time I won't leave it so long!

A group of 2 adults and 4 children (two school-aged and two under 5) were denied entry at the door on Wed noon despite having sufficient seating areas available. The waitstaff gave excuses and no clear explanations, yet businessmen were prioritised and welcomed in on arrival. I can understand prejudice around young families with children in restaurants, but it is difficult to accept as we have eaten here numerous times.

This place is a hidden gem in the heart of the city. A cosy and welcoming little place, the folks at Ramen Daikoku know good ramen, which means having quality broth is essential. The flavour in their Tonkotsu is fantastic and the price is very reasonable. If you want something with a bit of spice, their Spicy Pork Belly Ramen is to die for.

Another iconic place I had been going to since uni, as it was affordable for a student and hearty. A cozy little place with great hospitality, there's never a long wait even if busy. My go-to was the shio ramen with extra bamboo. They use the crunchy style bamboo instead of the soggy leathery stuff. I think the only time something went wrong was when there was one chef to a full house, and the broth was very salty. Otherwise the broth was always balanced and flavoursome with no weird pork game taste like a lot of the ramen places in Sydney...

Bad experience, one of the worst ramen that I ever tasted. The morning after my dinner there I had a terrible stomach ache!

My regular spot. One of the best broths I've tasted. Excellent noodles and great sides.Only complaint is they raised the price and it's a little run down. But the value for money is still there.

Food was okay, but the waitress was extremely disrespectful and rude. She definitely lacks basic customer service skills and she is in rush to kick you out once you are served. She got the wrong order and said you still need to pay for it. Luckily my friend was happy to swap over. My first and last visit.
