Excellent little cafe with a lot of charm. Food was stunning and the building as well. I loved the tea selection. Will be back for sure.

I had a lovely brocolli salad with cranberry, nuts and beautiful dressing. There was a southern cheese roll there, so it didn't go with the salad really but wanted to try it and also had a vanilla slice which in my day we called them custard squares, that was amazing too. 5 star rating to the little old bnz bank called MINT Cafe

Went for team lunch today and the food was lovely. Fish and chips and the seafood chowder were the highlights of our group choices.

Delicious breakfast with freshly baked croissants but one hour is too long to wait for 2 breakfasts and no apology from server. He didn't manage a smile or pleasant exchange at all, over the 1 hour I was waiting there.

Unbelievably small portions. 17 for three coin sized stuffed" mushrooms. This should have been a $6 appetizer

This place is open! Wed-Sun. Finished first 45kms up from Opua and the seafood chowder with garlic bread hit the spot - rich and delicious!

Had a wonderful meal here after riding from Kawakawa. The staff are wonderful and welcoming and the food was so delicious! We had the salmon, a vegetarian fettuccine, baked root vegetables and kumara fries. Would recommend all! In such a beautiful building as well ✨️

Disappointed after hearing good reports. Saturday 7pm booking only 1 waitress. Waited nearly 20 minutes for a drink, food order. Had to request water. Entrées cold to warm. Corn on cob as a vege. Chairs on tables whilst still dining and never offered dessert or coffee.

We really enjoyed our meals at this restaurant. Perfect place to relax after a day's biking on the trail. Food was delicious and well presented. Plenty of room for larger groups. Katherine was a very friendly and efficient waitress. We will recommend this restaurant to friends coming up this way
