We booked to stay in the cabin which was a bargain at $65, however, the photos are not representative of the room at all which was cold and damp and the bedding looked dirty. It was far below the standard of all the places we’ve stayed in NZ and not somewhere we were willing to stay. We were refused a refund despite the misrepresentation on their website so we’ve moved on to better, cleaner things. Would not recommend staying here

Cannot praise Anson and staff enough for their help when I left my iPad behind. They went over and above to locate and courier it back to me safely.This followed a mixup over a third party booking of rooms which they also settled very quickly on a miserable wet night. Great service!!

If you're thinking about staying here, do yourself a favour and don't. We booked a cabin for $65 and upon arriving were shocked that anybody could charge money to stay in such a disgusting room. We dont have high standards (been sleeping in a tent for 3 weeks) so you know this is an accurate review. The stench of mildew and mould was thick in the air, the curtain was stiff and stuck together (guessing from the moisture in the room), the bedding smelt stale and the cabin" was one of three in a demountable with partition walls between them. Ontop of this the nearby kitchen/lounge area smelt horrid and was filthy. Also

Great place. Obviously a little old and on the cheaper side. But has everything you need, clean room, comfortable, all amenities and great service.Was really happy with our stay.

This was just an awful experience. Our cabin was moldy, the pillowcases unwashed, the bathrooms were dirty and moldy and the whole holiday park was run down and looked unkempt. We booked 2 nights but didn't go back after the 1st night-just awful. When I rang to say so the staff member was not fazed at all.

Easy access and plenty of parking. Friendly enough staff when you could find them. This place is starting to look quite run down. Everything needs a tidy up. Garden used to be well looked after. Units used to be well maintained. Prices are now getting comparable to a moden motel.

Arrived to reception with no booking- we were just after a cheap place to keep dry. Super friendly lady made us feel very welcome and the cabin is exactly what we needed. Location is perfect too. Cheers guys!Will recommend and return again.

Stayed for 2 nights. For a 3 start motel had what you would expect. Room was warm, and good night sleep. TV was a good size. Had Netflix and sky sport.Trampoline for kids. Would stay again.

The location is close to the beach, the glow worm grove and just a couple of blocks from town. The staff were lovely and obliging when the road was closed and we needed to stay an extra night. The room was warm and clean and tidy. The kitchen was well equipped. The unit was plain but had everything we needed and good value for the price.
