Fantastic place to chill out with friends, especially as there was no breeze. Water was picture perfect. Wish I could paint, just to capture the moment, peace and tranquility.

Steep beach at high tide but not much good for swimming at low tide, gets the south to south west winds but sheltered from anything else.

Depends on what you’re looking for I guess. Pretty sheltered but there are more beautiful and nicer beaches elsewhere on Waiheke for lying on the sand or going for a swim

Quiet locals beach, can be windy but when tide is full and skies are blue.. it's heaven. And great for kids, picnic table & shade..

A beautiful little beach with view of moared yachts and glimpse of some yachts on an evening race. Great picnic beach!

Great spot has a BBQ beach is not great, but is nice and quiet and swimming at high tide is good. Not as scenic as some of the other spots on Waiheke, but a good bet if the tide is high and you want somewhere a bit quieter. Beware if swimming later in the summer, often infested with sea lice. Take your togs off as soon as you get out of the water and you're less likely to get a nasty rash.
