4 stars because most of it was good, but the steak toasted sandwich I ordered was a real letdown and not eaten.$5.90, and I got 2 pieces of lightly toasted bread with some dried up strips of steak

So while recently visiting family back home here in Stanmore Bay I decided to get some dinner. I went down to brightside takeaways. Firstly they told me they had no menus I could take to look at, then when I rang up and ordered kumara chips, this is what $5 got me! Like I get the cost of living has gone up but this is pathetic.

Get it together People, Care about what you serve your customers, the one's who pay you for your service !!! We got crumbed Snapper and chips, it was really bad, over cooked, dry fish with scale left on it, oil almost dripping of the fish, not cheap, o I had a spring roll too, it was eatable thats it !!They dont deserve your custom !

We got the $35 fish and chips. It came with 4 fish. Due to the 4 fish I expected the chips to be enough for 4 people but it was very small. Enough for two.Otherwise was OK. I feel it's a 3.5 star

Order placed via phone, the worker did not discribe the food properly then the worker got very aggressive when we went to pick up the order realising it was wrong. Would not recommend unless you want to be shouted at in a rude unprofessional manner.

Always a decent dinner que to this local legend. Best crabsticks on the coast, everything is delicious and he's very friendly for such a busy shop. A* rated certificate in window for the win.

The hoki was nice.fell apart when eating it and didn't taste fishy at all.chips were ok and potato fritter oily.i reckon just change the oil more .Was not to bad at all though.will go back for sure

First of all, I ordered over the phone.Menu is different Instore to what’s shown online.Price has also changed. I thought I had been overcharged but nope..I got home & what I ordered is also not what we wanted. This has also been changed in store compared to the menu onlineUgh .. knowing this we would’nt have ordered over the phone and would have what we expected.
