I have had great service online from this place in the past. But not this time.Purchased a reel online on the 27th. Hadn't heard anything by the 10th of the following month so I emailed them but got no reply.Then phoned them. Was told there was no record of my purchase but that they would look into it and ring me backDidn't receive a call back so I rung them back. This time the same person I first spoke to gave me a different excuse saying that the reel wasn't in stock.When I asked him how I could purchase something from them online when they don't have it in stock he said someone probably bought it the same day I put the order through.Yea right!My advice is don't deal with these guys! They aren't honest. Take a look at similar reviews on here with people that never got their orders at all and had trouble getting refunds processed.

The most awful experience I have ever had purchasing anything. First of all I purchased beach fishing reel with a stand early December for a Christmas present, I’m putting a review in April because it’s been a painful process that’s taken 5 months haha, I’m crying at the same time. After 3 weeks of not receiving any response of my purchase, I called them and they said ohhh I’ll have to pay more money because what I purchased off there website will cost more for delivery than I paid originally, who does that but a shonky business. I said I want my money back and they refused, who does that but a shonky business. Long painful story short after months of ringing them and emails, I finally received a reel and no stand, what am I going to do with a big reel without a stand. Most painful experience and the most unprofessional business practices. Avoid this so called business like the plague.

Excellent customer service. Fast friendly and very efficient. This place is fast becoming my favorite store.. The Men here are absolutely phenomenal in all aspects of customer service going over and above the call of duty, very informative with gear selection.Highly recommend A++ service

Beware that this shop does not honour online prices. I bought a rod which was offered at $20 cheaper online. I have since discovered that they offer a free pickup option if purchased online. Buyer beware. I find this behaviour deceptive, and dishonest.

Recently bought a condor aee a22 drone from Paul's Fishing Systems. It was taking a while to get to me so I gave them a call to see why. When Chris told me that the winds were so strong that they couldn't get out to test flight the drones - I was skeptical.However - the drone finally turned up. That was 3 weeks ago. I am no longer skeptical - in fact I feel downright sorry for Chris. The wind hasn't stopped blowing 30 to 40 knot westerlies since I got it and I don't have a chance to do my own first flight. Truly sucks.Thank you Chris for all your patience with me calling you every week and annoying you. Thank you for being such a good guy and always being so pleasant to chat with. Recently purchased an AEE A20 drone from Paul's and have used it several times for fishing.Easy as to setup, x4 sets per battery to 450m and the return speed is really impressive compared to my friends 2 year old drone of the same brand.Thanks guys, appreciate it.NB = For ALL drone operators do NOT operate your drone with any aircraft or Helicopters operating in the area or else your GPS system most likely wont operate....you will be flying on manual only.

Ordered a Shimano travel rod for GT fishing in Rarotonga on June 15th. Called to ask where my purchase was on Friday,June 23rd (1 week later) and Morgan had no knowledge of the purchase?Told him of the importance of getting the rod here for our departure on June 27th yet the rod wasn't picked up by NZ Post until Tuesday, June 26th and will not be here for our departure.Total incompetance and thank you Morgan for screwing up my vacation fishing plans to a dream location.I must say Morgan offered to meet us at the Auckland Airport with a replacement rod but I had already packed and paid for an extra bag to use on my trip so he made ammends for my order oversight!

I ordered a replacement PFK Nighthawk and also a Super Kite for aerial photography. My order was processed with incredible efficiency and the kites arrived on my doorstep after a 12,000 mile journey in less than 7 days. No drama.
