I organised a surprise 50th birthday party here last month in the restaurant bar, the staff here totally rock. Helpful, friendly, excellent service they made it all so easy! Then after drinks we had dinner as a group the food was yummy and came out fast, again excellent service they even turned the TV on so the boys could watch the rugby game while eating. A few of us stayed in the Hotel for the night, room was clean and warm and yummy breakfast. Awesome place to have a function as they have everything you want/need in one venue. Thank you to everyone including the owner for a great time had by all!!

Worse meal I have ever had. Service was poor. Long wait for poor food. $61 for a steak on the menu as 500grams it was scrawny and overcooked.Slow service waited over an hour for our entree.Meant to be a celebration for a birthday for our mum and have never been so disappointed.Total waste of money. More like a Greasy Spoon meal, yet they want to make out they are a fine dining restaurant.

Best cooked eggs and salmon breakfast I've had in a long time and I love my warm plate!!Good friendly service and a big pot of English breakfast tea.My favourite place to have breakfast these days. Thanks guys!

Oh wow - this is Whangarei's best kept secret! The waiter was friendly and attentive, and the food was absolutely top notch.The menu is impressive, with a range of delicious options. We chose five different meals, and I honestly don't think there's a bad option on there, because all of them came out not only tasting incredible, but plated and dressed with such care and artistry that it's clear the chef loves their work.Portion sizes were bang on, and well worth the prices.I put the atmosphere at four stars, but maybe it should be five, depending on your personal preference. We found there weren't many people there (granted it was a Tuesday night), which seems a bit of a shame considering the quality of the food. That said, table spacing is generous, so even on a busier night it should be easy to have a conversation with your group without needing to yell.Everyone at the table said they've now got a new favourite restaurant. Thanks, Raewyn and the team, we'll be sure to see you again soon!

Terrible meal and terrible service. Overcooked burger.Says makes for memorable meal. If you mean we would remember a bad meal then you are spot in.Worse birthday meal in all my 72 years.

on the 21st of January 2023.The most horrible food. Me and my fellow dinner ordered a Scotch filled. Far out the so called scotch filled was so sinewey. I dont believe it was.scoch fillet.Also we both ordered mushroom sauce but ended up with a very salty mushroom gravy covering our so called scotch fillet. It was horrible. I only ate it bc I was starving. It was not a sauce but pan gravy mixed with.a 2 mushrooms. If the cook didnt want to work tonight.why did he or she even bother showing up. This is why I hate eating out. What a waste of money.

I ordered a $61 500gram TBone Steak medium Rare. Took over an hour for my meal and it came to me looking like Jeky.Was meant to be a birthday celebration. Left hungry as refused to eat that poor excuse of a meal in a so called fine dining restaurant.
