Really fresh. We had one combo, and one regular Fish and Chips. The natural coleslaw (just right with no sugar) goes so well with fried foods. On a Saturday afternoon, we three could relax watching the local Mount Eden sidewalk activity.

Tried this place out a few months ago and my only regret was not finding it sooner. After buying fish and chips and raw fish from here for the first time, I refused to buy fish and chips from anywhere else. Food never disappoints (chefs kiss) and the woman behind the counter is always friendly. Amazing food and great service.

The fried food is really good, but don't get anything with veges. I often find the produce isn't fresh - the cabbage in the coleslaw is bitter, and the leafy greens are also past their best.

had tarakihi with chips and a fish burger. the fish was absolutely perfect. size, batterness and cooked level. possibly the best I've had! also the chips were decent. the burger was super yum too although it would be great if it was the battered style instead of crumbed but that's just a personal preference, it was still delicious. partner got squid meal which was really good too, super chewy and crispy.

Ordered for a family of four and was disappointed at how expensive it was for such little portions of food. This was our first time ordering fish n chips that was so overpriced that everyone was still left hungry. I called the owner to express our dissatisfaction and was left with a “I can’t help you” response - not good. For that price I’ve had a much better experience. Very disappointing first time experience.

Very good quality fish and chips. I understand servicing them in these boxes isn’t traditional but who wants a 3 week old newspaper keeping your food from breathing and making it soggy when you take it home. Terrible idea. These guys ensure the food is crispy and the seafood is incredibly fresh. You can also order online so it’s pretty convenient.
