Richmond Holiday Park
Great spot, stayed in the cabins which were lovely and new. All the amenities you need for a stopover pre/post Hike or Bike, good value for money and lovely staff. Only thing I’d change is a fan would be great in the cabins in the summer.

A wee holiday park that's easy to miss, but it's well run, tidy and handy to the shops and activities. Got to know the place as a relative stayed long-term and found it organised and supportive. Owner/manager a straight communicator with a sense of humor. Thumbs up.

Went to Richmond for Queens birthday weekend and stayed in one of their family sized units. The unit was well laid out, accommodates six or maybe more people. The staff are lovely people and very helpful and friendly. The unit is well equipped with shower and separate toilet facilities, a good kitchen, dinette, and lounge, and double twin and single bedroom accommodation. There was a very useful privatedrying court and brabecue/ outdoor dining area at the rear of the room. It faces the northwest side and was very sunny for the two minutes of sunshine we got

Right in the middle of Richmond, close to Nelson. Great cabin, clean and worth $65. The only reason we gave it a 4 star instead of a 5 star is because you have to pay for the showers.....$1 for 8 minutes.

Stayed in motel room 1 adult and 2 kids just after New Years... friendly staff, best price in Tasman area. Clean room. Sky TV, 150GB wifi vouchers and a salt water pool which we pretty much had to ourselves. Only downer was dryer wasn't that great. Recommend using the Liquid Laundry nearby. But would happily return. Easy 10 minute drive to Nelson or access the other way to Mapua and Kaiteriteri.Richmond has everything you need. Big brand shops, mall, eateries, aquatic centre. Less frantic than main street Nelson.Definitely 5 stars

After the long driving day we came here and found that we need to have a 1 dollar coin to take a shower. We didn't have one. Who uses coins these days?? It was first time I went to bed without a shower. The most stupid thing I've ever seen in camping

Booked in here and was told to give my debt card details over the phone and that I wouldn't be charged until I checked in. Plans changed rang up to cancel the booking a couple hours later and was charged 46 bucks, not to happy as I wasnt told this when booking. I Feel like I was mislead and scammed. Very annoying.
