Luxury Airport Shuttles

* AVOID!! THIS IS A SCAM!! * We had booked our flights with travel agency “YOU Travel” in Tauranga who recommended we use Luxury Airport Shuttles for our outbound and return journeys, and so we followed this recommendation and paid in advance through “YOU Travel” for Luxury Airport Shuttles to take us both ways (outbound & return). Our outbound shuttle journey (ie, from home to Auckland Airport) was perfect. However, our return shuttle journey on 1st June 2023 WAS SUBJECT TO A SCAM!! Specifically, after we arrived at Auckland Airport we phoned Luxury Airport Shuttles to notify them that our plane had arrived an hour late and we were currently stuck in one of the four queues at Customs and not to regard us as “no shows” … only to hear that they had cancelled our return journey without notice or refund, and would only take us if we paid an extra $184.71! We were otherwise stranded at Auckland Airport, so we had to pay by credit card over the phone, and we felt this was a SCAM!! We notified “YOU Travel” of this company’s behaviour and, after intervention from YOU Travel, Luxury Airport Shuttles offered to refund only $155.00 of this $184.71. We have not accepted this low-ball offer, and we intend to dispute this extra payment with our credit card company. * WE WILL NEVER USE THIS SCAM SHUTTLE COMPANY AGAIN!! *

Unfortunately, there is no competition. Aerolink was exceptional, but closed down when the border closed. Constant disappointment. My husband uses them frequently as he has no choice. It has taken up to 5 hours for to get to Tauranga from Auckland with their schedules and delays. Most recently, they were supposed to depart Auckland Airport by 3.30pm, at 5.15pm they were eventually getting ready to leave.

Absolutely terrible!I booked on the shuttle that is scheduled to depart Auckland int at 4.30pm. I cleared customs by 2.30pm and settled in for my wait but at 4.30 when we were due to leave I was told we are waiting for a delayed flight. They have a shuttle leaving every 2 hours so I was unsure why they couldn't get the next one. We finally left the airport at 5.45 and as a result the driver ran out of hours meaning I had to be transferred to another shuttle making me even more late. Unfortunately I had already booked the return trip to Auckland with them 2 weeks later and that wasn't any better. Giving me a pick up time of 10am from Te Puke. I arrived at 9.50. When 10 rolled around no shuttle. I found him sitting in obscure side street. He then abused me and my mum for making him late. The list goes on for other issues but this has been long enough.Take the bus, at least it sticks to a schedule, is much cheaper and turns out much faster!

This company provides a top notch service. I've used it many times over the years, both to and from Auckland airport and the drivers are always excellent. The communication is great too. I received a message about where to find my driver, his name and time of departure from the airport. That is so reassuring when you are travelling in from overseas. Thanks Mike for a pleasant and safe trip home yesterday, and thanks for going out of your way to drop me at my doorstep.

This company did a great job! They had good communication by checking in the day before to confirm pick up time and place. The driver, R Archer was so nice and even told me about some of the sites we were passing which was really cool. I enjoyed talking with him and he was a very good driver. I'll definitely use this shuttle service again next time I'm in NZ. The prices were great as well.

We used Luxury Airport Shuttles for our trip to Auckland airport for an international flight in September. Communication was good and trip uneventful with us arriving well before time. On our homeward journey a few days ago we again used them and had Mike as our driver. Pickup was timely and Mike was so pleasant and helpful. One thing that my husband commented on was how quiet his van was compared with our trip up to Auckland. Thanks, Mike.

I have used this service many times to go from Tauranga to Auckland and I highly recommend it. They are responsive, reliable and always on-time. The drivers are so pleasant and kind- it seems like they really enjoy their job! The prices are comparable to other services. You can’t go wrong with them!

Rang 4 days before booking.Told I had plenty of time to bookdaughter on van for a 6.30 pick upRang back next day (after not leavingcar at airport for daughter based on what I was told)Story had completely changed in 24hours .Only pick up now was at 9 pm.Absolutely second rate company

Communication and updates are reliable. Our driver today, going to Auckland is so friendly and accommodating. He is time conscious and professional.We will surely book from Airport back home, after the holiday overseas.
