Celia did so much more than just photography for our wedding! She made up a timetable for the day of what would be happening when and advised on the best position for the ceremony/photos. On the day, she was a brilliant timekeeper and essentially kept our whole day on track - definitely above and beyond anything we expected of a photographer.Celia was unintrusive and professional, and perhaps a little magic - somehow taking photos of everyone and everything whilst rarely being noticed by our guests. She also gave clear, simple direction during photos to make them look the best they could.Our photos were quick to make it to our inbox following the wedding. Celia was our wedding photographer at our Dunedin wedding in December 2022, and we couldn't have asked for a better person to photograph our day. Myself and my husband are not photo people and are not overly comfortable in front of the lens. Celia made us feel so comfortable and gave very helpful instructions on the day to assist us with taking photos including placement, positioning, etc. We have also had many comments from our friends and family about Celia, specifically about how fantastic she was to work with and how comfortable she made everyone feel while taking their photo, along with the attention she gave to every shot she took. The photos themselves are also outstanding and beautifully capture the day. Colours compliment each other and pop in the photos, light falls and creeps into the photos in such a magical way, small details are highlighted and the shots are framed up perfectly. We are looking forward to getting some of the photos printed and framed to place throughout our home. We also had several video calls with Celia leading up to the big day where we spent time getting to know each other and discuss details about the kind of photos we wanted, insecurities, tips for the day, etc. I hope there comes a time where we get to work with Celia again, and we will definitely be recommending her to anyone we know looking for a fantastic photographer!
