Our unit was clean & tidy, quiet with a river view. Although its easy to say the interior is dated, the airconditioner was so welcomed with the heat of summer outside. Beds were comfortable and shower worked fine. Loved our stay in Wairoa and it was made 100% easier with Vista. Thank you, you are a credit to Wairoa.

Although the spaces are quite dated and in need of some repair, our stay provided all that we needed ahead of setting off for the Waikaremoana track. Our rooms were warm, tea coffee and milk were provided, the service was excellent! And it was only a very short stroll to the local bakery and dairy.Thanks so much for having us!

WiFi was not strong enough for anyone to use, there were bed bugs in our room, and also in the room my aunty rented across the court. At least the shower pressure was nice

Below average. Rooms are a decent size although not clean. Had to hang curtains back on rails myself.Basin cracked. Toilet position stupid. Lift seat and it falls back because the toilet is too far back toward wall. Carpet was dirty. Previous tenant tramped bitumen throughout room.

Would not recommend. Was cold when I walked in. It is in need of an upgrade but would have been acceptable if it was clean. Office was disgusting, especially with 1 of the cats walking around and the other on the counter by the computer cleaning itself.Tv worked, heatpump was great, view of river was lovely.

I am very impressed about how the room settings and warm welcomed. We were late but The manager Angelina she has smiles and help us feel like home. Another Surprise was The Bar.WowHow generous and great quality food by happy staff ,the lady name is Brie.Luckily Ive met the main Chef Ann.Thanks a lot guys.I am highly recommend this Bar and We definitely come back again.

Was a nice experience. I stayed here for two weeks Five days the food and stay was lovely. the last week I stayed the fridge was defrosted on to the carpet. I just took a photo of it and told the staff. they were able to take care of it by placing a towel on it. Lovely staff at the Vista Lodge in Wairoa.

Absolutely loved this little place. Although dated, I was greeted with a warm smile and the facilities were very clean and fresh. Rooms were warm and bed was comfy. To top it off, their restaurant was fantastic. Friendly staff and quick service. Basic menu, but nicely presented, good potions and tasted great. The cheesecake I took back to my room was home made and YUMMY! Would definitely recommend.
