OH MY GOSH. Without doubt THE most amazing shop I have ever seen or been into. I would expect to see it in the high streets of LA. The staff are friendly as and as an older fart in there they didn't judge me at all. A live DJ plays from above the checkout and massive videos playing on the walls. Just absolutely stunning place. A real experience. Shopping at a whole different level. Hugely recommended even if just for a visit. I'll be there every time we go to Sylvia Park when up in Auckland.Big shout out to all the staff that make this an experience never to be forgotten. An absolute asset to Sylvia Park. WOW.

Amazing store! Probabaly my favourite store in NZ... Great example of how retail stores should be setup to provide a great customer experience. Really attentive and helpful staff. Awesome selection of streetwear brands and massive range of shoes. Will be spending $$$$'s here over the years.

Very disappointing to shop online at what is considered a reputable retailer, discovering the item ordered runs small and attempting to exchange at their physical store. However, if your required size is not in stock apparently you can't return an item for a refund at the store, you can only post back to online returns. In Australia. At the customers cost.Don't bother having an online store if you're going to make it so difficult for your customers, you're only creating a terrible experience - particularly when it's not like you're an exclusive carrier for any of the brands sold.

My 17 y.o son and I visited for the first time today to select some shoes for him and were assisted by a wonderful sales consultant called Geo. She made us feel welcome (as did the other staff members) and assisted us with selecting shoes for my son. Not all the shoes were available as they keep others in the back room so we were taken to a private room to try the shoes on. My son is autistic so the private room we were taken too helped to block out the DJ music outside which can be overstimulating, this was a huge help with him being able to focus on selecting the shoes he wanted. I acknowledged her for taking us to the room and explained to her my son’s autism - she was very understanding and continued to ensure that he was settled and comfortable with the environment we were in. She went above and beyond, getting multiple different styles of shoes and a few different sizes so that we could see what we wanted, I’m talking about 8-9 boxes of shoes here - we were provided with a good variety of shoes to have a look at and choose from.Before we were about to leave the room, she immediately offered to go and speak to the DJ to lower the volume of the music so we could go to the counter outside. My son has coping mechanisms to deal with loud noise and I said thank you for the kind gesture but that it was no problem at all and he would be fine to go outside with the music volume as is.From start to finish we had an amazing customer experience, it is not often you find stores with staff that go above and beyond. It was great to see inclusion and diversity being effected at the store, it goes to show that staff are a lot more understanding and are happy to cater to your needs if the respect is mutual between the customer and the staff as we had experienced at Culture Kings today. I am most grateful for the service we received as was my son, thanks Culture Kings Sylvia Park and thank you Geo for your awesome service.

Buying from a local online store thinking we can do returns in store - nope - so this storefront is useless unless you like a bad dj…. And don’t buy online either unless you want to organize & pay for your own return. JD sports much better process and range :)

Couple of bad eggs work for you wanted to have a look at caps,suggestion bring them down so there accessible to the customer...Needed assistance but your staff were either busy dancing to the music singing then when I approached to get a cap down to have a look it was like I had interuped a wedding speech .....Watch your workers! two stood out being rude as to other customers ..But if you know them all good its smiles and laughs

The rude manager ask you must to spend $500 to buy the Jordans. While other people don't need to spend $500, only me need to spend. Very bad shopping experience. Please don't go to culture king to spend your money. The quality of clothes were bad and the service was bad.

Ordered a $300 shopping and it has been nearly 2 weeks that I have been waiting for my order. I understand there was floods 2 weeks ago. But I’ve been waiting a whole week for an update. Why offer express shipping if it isn’t going to arrive in that timeframe? They don’t even have an apology gift or any alternative way. Cannot even refund. As of now CK is a 1 star

Such an amazing store, was there on the day of the grand opening and had such a great time. Met Jimi Jackson and played the dragon punch game and basketball sharpshooter. The whole thing was sick! Made friends with some of the staff and they were super nice! Easily worth all the hype and it's the best clothing store in New Zealand. The DJ was great, and tunes they blasted were bangers. Thanks for the awesome experience! Will be coming back soon.

One star for Manager Megan’s poor and arrogant customer service.We purchased a pant and a hoodie, (both full price) then went to JD next door and found the same pant was $20 cheaper, I checked that they have same size I purchased.I went back immediately to see if they could offer price match or at least offer something.On their receipt, no message saying items are not refundable, staff didn’t tell me items are not refundable neither. Megan said it was because of me didn’t ask and kept on reading their website policy. No empathy at all, Very funny.Would be happy to pay more if the service is better, but would never come back again!Update: email sent two weeks ago, still no reply yet.
