Went here recently with a friend for lunch. Certainly the staff were excellent and I enjoyed my chicken dish(my friend was not so impressed with her tuna) really lovely atmosphere looking out onto the sea even though it was raining!

Wow what a wonderful setting for my 60th birthday celebration. Relaxed, nautical decor , coupled with GREAT SERVICE from Liam Heaven and the team. Great food. Our group of 14 got to enjoy all the care and attention of your excellent service. From the welcome drinks, the lovely a la carte menu, coffee and desserts all being offered efficiently and perfectly timed. All that while enjoying the drop dead gorgeous views of the setting sun across Okahu Bay and out into the Waitemata.harbour. We will be back and so will most of our guests. One of the few places in Auckland for absolute waterfront coffee or dining, beautiful view, great coffee, friendly staff and nice food. Been there many times for takeaway coffee, in-house lunch and occasional dinner. Little play area for kids out the front, plenty of boaty activity going on. Staff shortages like everyone else, so call to check hours if you're making special plans, also on weekend brunch times when it is often packed. Only negative is that it's extremely modest re its existence - no sign or night-time light on Tamaki Drive, so hard for people to know it's there!

Average, slow service and it was quiet, you had to get their attention before they came to take our orders. Despite having a small serving and being pricey, the lunch was delicious. We expect a little bit more from the service given what you pay for.

Very slow on approaching customers when they are standing at the please wait to be seated sign. The food takes a long time to come out and they are always running out of what we like. Fantastic spot but very disappointing Service unfortunately. Ask for a certain type of coffee and they get that wrong.We used to like this place and come here all the time for lunch however we will now limit our return.

Took my elderly parent for lunch. It was perfect, the food was great, service was efficient, not overcrowding and the atmosphere had a good energy about it and was excellent for conversation. Not to mention the amazing views and the sailing vibes of the location. Well done Akarana.

Come here for lunch today and had a wonderful experience. Was served by a young man named Sam and he was exceptional. Super friendly and highly knowledgeable about the menu items. 5 stars, would definitely recommend.

A really great location and plenty of outdoor seating. The menu is standard but you are here for the location and the view. Service was all good too. The only thing to note is that there were plenty of kids there when we went. Made for a bit of a loud and rowdy environment instead of a calm chill one. There are some swings to play, a tree to climb, and lots of grass so I suppose families come as it is an easy spot to keep the kids entertained.
