We always have the best time at the Duke! Love the staff, food & drinks are amazing — especially the weekly dukes favourites and the great gin and wine lists!! Perfect for a relaxing after work catch up!The team always go the extra mile!

I had a beautiful tirimasu but didn't have a main (I'm vegetarian and wasn't into the options, no shade as this is often the case so am just picky and would rather pudding and chips for lunch) so can only say, they looked nice. A good chill place to sit down for a meal.

A simple lunch with a friend today. We still got a best service, delicious food with 2 free rose. Thank you for letting us had a great time.

Lovely, welcoming service. Spacious and comfy. Great assortment of dishes on the menu. Pasta was fab, considering this is a pub. Craft beers on tap. Excellent coffee. Delicious!

BEST PLACE EVER. Staff? Superb, friendly, helpful, relaxed. Food? Exquisite, beautifully presented without being pretentious, great price point, good portions. Location? Love it! Not on the waterfront but so close to, so it's not as busy, great for a quiet meal or drink. The decor is lovely, chic, clean and airy. If you love Gin you Have to visit this place!! Two pages of gin served 3 clever ways. Beers are great with a mix of classics and craft, local and specialities. A good range of non-alcoholic drinks and great coffee too. Open from early to late. We were on Wellington for 2 days and ate at a range of places, my only regret is that we went anywhere else, the Duke outshone every other eatery and bar in every way.

I was about to order a breakfast and beforehand helped myself to a glass of water. I was scolded, ridiculed and humiliated by a middle aged foreign staff member who said the water was not there for people to help themself and to go elsewhere for the water. I was absolutely disgusted by this level of customer service as I wasn’t even able to explain I was on my way to order food, and I was instead asked to leave. I do not recommend this place. Plenty of other great spots to check out in Wellington City.

Very friendly and fast Service. Nice ambiente and very delicious food but not large portion.I would fully recommend this place if you look so.ething for food and drink.
