Incredible spot! A must do if visiting the Taranaki region. Take care on the staircase down to the falls, its pretty steep and can be slippery.

You go through the gate then be careful as road is very narrow, there are multiple car parks to park at some only being 3 cars that can fit but the main car park is at the base of Mt Taranaki. The track is down lots of steps from the start of the walkway steep in some places. There are two viewpoints one at the base and one at a higher point

Relatively easy to get to. Caution needed on the road in due to it being narrow and some diving their cars like they were stolen.Falls are a relatively easy walk to the viewpoint of a minute or two from the road. Then a few stairs down to the base of the falls.Good viewings to be had.A longer walk can be had from the visitors centre also.

The walk down to the falls was quite challenging, if you are confident on your feet give it a go, otherwise just heard to the viewing point. The base of the falls is well worth it if you can manage it

Very nice walk to spectacular falls. The track is quiet rough in places, study boots and reasonable fitness required.

One of the best wonders of Mt Taranaki. You can park you car on the road side and access Dawson falls from there. There are other tracks that leads to Dawson Falls. You can take the track to willkies pools and go to Dawson Falls. At one leg you have to cross the road. There is no toilet facilities at Dawson falls but you will find one at the Visitor's centre.

Nice spot to stop, lovely forest canopy walks. A bit of a steep climb down to the falls, but worth it to be misted by the power of the waterfall.

Beautiful Falls in a pretty much pristine environment. Not far off the road. Be aware, if you want to walk to the base of the Falls the steps are steep. Good exercise.

Beautiful falls to walk out to and not a difficult hike from the parking area.There was great water flow when we were there and the pools at the bottom looked inviting, but it was a little too cold to jump in!Add it to your list of places to see when you are in the Taranaki area! It should not be missed!
