Awesome experience. Did the 1-hour flight lesson to Mt Aspiring. You get to fly the plane for most of the time and since the two controls are linked you can follow the movements of the pilot in critical situations like the landing for example. The pilot explained a lot and even took time to answer all our questions after the flight. Highly recommended!

Amazing experience! Did my first flight there with Isaac, he was very nice and knowledgeable.Learned a lot about flying in the mountains and left with an even greater desire to get my license and keep flying!

Flying High.Our experience with U-Fly Wanaka was exceptional. From the tentative take off, to the spectacular mountain flying, the whole time was a thrill. I had not expected such a 'hands on' experience and the flight with Isaac exceeded my expectations. Flying around, taking the controls for such a large part of the flight was stimulating. Marguerite and I flew over areas of Aspiring National Park where I had been tramping and climbing over the last 50 years. I only wish I had done this flight 30 years ago! I might have gone for my PPL then! Now, I've still got 49 flights to go. No harm in trying to squeeze them in!Thank U-Fly Wanaka

Highlight of the trip. Lovely people and Isaac (Pilot) did an awesome job both as an instructor and pointing out the scenery we flew over. Enjoyed every second of it and recommend UFly as a must do experience for anyone going to Wanaka. Make sure you get the video too!!

I did the 60-minute Glacier Ridge Trial Flight. I've done three of these sort of Trial Instructional Flights, with different aircraft, in different places, with different instructors and Isaac was definitely the best instructor I've had. His method was more like a coach helping me to fly than just issuing orders to be followed. Isaac was full of helpful commentary with the right balance of detail without being overwhelming. He has a passion for teaching people to fly, rather than just getting his own flighthours up.

Flew up to southern alps near Mt Aspiring glacial area - WOW!! This was a trial flight like no other I have done - SPECTACULAR lake and mountain views, learnt new mountain flying skills at approx 5500 feet, lower altitude flying at approx 2500 feet and was able to share the experience with my wife as a free passenger (she now wants to fly too!!). Our instructor, Isaac was excellent and was true to U-Fly’s safety-first mantra. LOVED IT!!!
