Matai Falls
Only 15 minute walk leaves the carpark and, after a short journey through bush, comes to a junction. The left path to the lower falls, Matai Falls; The right path to Horseshoe Falls. Both are beautiful. It's worth looking into!

Matai Falls
Two separate falls the Horseshoe and Matai. Plus walked the adjacent historic railway track which was easy through nice native bush.

Matai Falls
Well worth stopping here for a short hike. The trail head is located just as a pull off from the road. It’s a steady, though not too steep, walk down for about 15-20 min. The same trail leads you to Horsehoe Falls just a min or so past Matai Falls.

Matai Falls
Not as impressive as some other waterfalls nearby, but still worth the 20 minute walk from the car park. In fact, there are two waterfalls here, just on top of each other: Matai Falls and Horseshoe Falls

Matai Falls
Ample parking and an extremely well maintained gravel pathway meanders through aesthetic twists and turns on this short easy walk to Matai falls located just below horse shoe falls which is another few minutes walk up three flights of stairs. A great walk to take the elderly or less fit people on due to its ease. I would recommend visiting after some rainfall.

Matai Falls
Really nice walking track to maitai falls, not very long. From there a short walk with stairs to horseshoe falls. There even is a longer walk but we had a lot more stops to go. Nice place to admire nature and stretch your legs. Do make sure you lock your car, apparently there have been some incidents where things got stolen. No problems at all when we were there.

Matai Falls
Lovely falls, fairly easy walk through bush.Horseshoe Falls are up a steep path with stairs but only a minute away from the main falls. There is also a historic railway with an interesting short walk through the old hand blasted track.
