Very rude old lady working there. Asked the younger girl working there if we could sit at the four seater table which was reserved and she said yes but the old lady said you cant sit there as it is reserved. Nobody came in to sit there while we were there. Food was really bad and all we could hear is some arguing at the back of house. The older lady keep staring at us. Paid good money for very average food and the portions sizes are small. Uses the same menu with photos from years ago but the food is totally different. Wont be going back there again.

My first ramen in Christchurch, it was yum and pleasant. Affordable price, pretty much quick service since order to get food ready. Might be need to change little bit of atmosphere inside the for dine in.

One of the tastiest and affordable Japanese eateries in the city centre. I always try to dine here at least once everytime I visit Christchurch. Love their gyudon, karaage and spicy miso ramen.

Food was delicious and came quickly.Prices were expensive for the portion size.I’m happy regardless, I visited just after 1pm, there was only two tables occupied.I got the unagi don with a ramen egg and the karaage chicken (because I was fully aware of how small Japanese portions are) and I was full just right and not in a food coma. Total came to about $34, which is way more expensive than Maccas, but at least I got to eat eel and didn’t have to queue up for ages.

Hey guys I do understand that prices went up and what not, but getting delivered cold sticked together noodles wich were sticked to a container that you cant get them out, 2 slices of pork so thin that you can see through, a few soy sprouts and 150 ml of broth for $20 its too poor. Check out Riverside market for a good ramen please. Brrr

I used really like samurai bowl city, but today Ordered ramen and fried noodle . The ramen tasted totally different from before, it is really bland , fried noodle used frozen vege . All the decorations are gone including Gundam . And no alcohol any more. What happened ? Not recommend.
