Golf Warehouse & Driving Range Ellerslie

Newly built driving range and its prob one of the best in Auckland if not in NZ. Ball tracer system is abit complicated for beginners to use. Might require some sort of instructions or sign boards for full enjoyment.

Great place, went for the driving range and is great setup, with auto ball feed and a distance screen to see how far and see if slice or hook.Would definitely recommend this place.

In order to become comfortable with my clubs and be able to play my first game of golf with confidence, I decided to go to a driving range. A friend of mine recommended the Ellerslie Driving Range, though it was a considerable drive of 16 minutes, I decided to check it out. After coming in wearing jeans, I was sent back to change them because, for whatever reason, it was against their policy. Since the machines didn't work by checkout, I decided to take some cash out after I wasted roughly 50 minutes going back home, changing, and driving back. As I had devoted so much time to it, it might as well stay. Despite all that was going on at checkout, machines not working, etc, I didn't blame the person at checkout for being extremely rude to me. Having waited 30 minutes in the queue, I went off to the range using my dad's RBZ Stage 2 Driver. I had to walk back multiple times because the 50 balls I had bought weren't moving, but when they did, I only had 40. For only hitting 40 balls and wasting a little over 2 hours, I wasted so much time and money. 2/10, I’ll be going to Takapuna's driving range next time!

Generally OK , course is obviosuly small but good for short game (pitch and putt practise). Driving range is good but had an issue with bay and got between 10-15 balls short . All'n'all though good for central" Auckland.Reply to Rhys

The range is great when you can actually get on it. There’s always a 40+min wait, this time they were short on balls…at a driving range?!

Went in there to get a driver fitting and wasn’t greeted well. One of the staff was on his phone and not interested. When I did get his attention he wasn’t very helpful, so I walked out.

Had an issue with malfunctioning equipment and the experience which can happen anytime. This situation was managed poorly by one of the staff on duty.However the manager resolved this in a very professional manner. Happy to go back to use the range and book in for some lessons.
