Our staff are friendly and reliable who are focused on providing professional transportation services to the Kohaihai / Heaphy track, the Wangapeka track and the Karamea Leslie track. A regular bus and freight service runs from Karamea to Westport return and rental cars and vans are also available for people to hire.

Our experience with these people was nothing short of amazing. They managed to find a car for us to visit the beautiful Oporara Basin and then a couple of days later when we were looking for a purse, there it was and they are posting it registered mail to our contact in Wellington. These people are awesome. And they are the loveliest people, but I'm told that west coast people are like that. And it's true.

Karamea Express helped me out when our plane couldn't fly us back to the start of the Heaphy. A van to Nelson was very reasonably priced, at zero notice, on a Sunday, and we were on the way about 20 minutes after I found out our pilot wasn't coming. Outstanding service, thanks.

Unfriendly woman gave us a really high price(250$) for a 1 day small car hire. When I reconfirmed that was for one day she got annoyed and wasn't friendly at all... Better use another company
