Great local recycle centre at the transfer station. I often pick up useful items. You can also buy garden supplies such as mulch. Friendly staff.

I've had several bad experiences here with the stuff they are untrained and not particularly friendly. Please train your staff in basic courtesies. I use recycling centres across Auckland and this is by far the worst.

I'm not happy with the black guy.i think he's giving me me a wrong charges.he's not deserving to incharge as a cashier.the first load I got $65 charge.2nd $79 then the last load $171.my last load are slightly than the first and second.. it's so sad

Total rip-off. They charged me $35 to return one bag of garden waste. Yes, the bag was bigger than the $15 version, but I could easily lift what I had into the back of a compact car trunk (I'm 65). The $15 sized bag might be what someone in an apartment needs. For a house with a bit (not huge) yard, no way! Then they sell the stuff back to you as mulch! The charge just seemed very out of proportion to the dry leaves that I was depositing. What, exactly, justifies such a charge? Not much of an encouragement to divert from regular garbage. Crazy.

Excellent experience here , met a lovely staff member , who was very welcoming and helpful . A gentleman originally from London . He certainly wasn’t shy of using a broom and hard work !

Found staff unfriendly and not easy to pay for with a trailer. Have to drive in and out 4 times just to unload and pay. Expensive @ $44.00 for trailer load.Normally pay $33.00 at other places. Would not re-use
