Social Club - Restaurant & Tapas Bar | We are a restaurant, tapas bar & events venue. We have live music every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoon and/or evening, from acoustic musicians to full bands and DJs. Our food is made by passionate chefs using only free range meat and fresh local produce.

Went here on Saturday for dinner with friends. Sat in the Restaurant part and could not have a conversation as the music was excessively loud. The area was also full of smoke. Would have liked to be warned of a party and DJ there so we could have gone elsewhere. It was too late for us to change and go elsewhere as we had something else straight after dinner. Very disappointed. Not really a Restaurant, more of a nightclub with food. Food and service fine, atmosphere terrible. Don't go if you want a dinner and conversation.

I probably caught them on a bad night. Appeared short staffed. Sharing platters looked nice from a distance, but sadly we ordered 2 mains: steak and nachos - I won't say more. Perhaps on another night they'd be much better. Really funky decor though and even a live singer was setting up for the evening, as we left. Still worth another try, cos we've had amazing meals there about 2-3 yrs ago.

Quirky decor, but we really liked it. Good whiskey, great service. Really nice to have open on a Sunday night. Recommend and hope to return soon.Update: Our group came for dinner and it was fantastic.Crispy duck, Moroccan lamb, beef steak. Wonderful.I can't rate it high enough. Wait and bar staff were fantastic, and the chef was very talented.Planning on returning soon.31 March 2023: Prices have cranked up, meals have become significantly smaller in quantity and cooked to disappointment. Honestly, better off heading to the fish and chip shop.

We went here with First Table and our experience was wonderful. The music and vibe of the place was really groovy. The bar-tend was very friendly and made us feel at home.The food here is incredible! Best burgers in town, they are delicious! We also tried an omelette with salmon and it was delightful. Great place with lots of weekly events.

Great spot! Cool atmosphere to have some drinks in. Random music usually happening so it keeps it interesting. You can definitely get some good photos in here and have some good beers. It's my go to bar in Tauranga. My only criticism is the window seats on the left side are pretty hard and uncomfortable, but it's the best view in the place. Wish they were softer. Highly recommend you stop in!

really neat pub with a fun, relaxed atmosphere. the food is good with options for small dishes to full meals. some nights have karaoke, other nights have bands or DJs. house beer and cider on tap. I tried the apple crumble cider and it was amazing!I like the big booths with cozy couches. staff are friendly too.

Food - amazing! The chef shows the great passion for cooking through the quality of the food and also the presentation.Drinks - Great mocktail, and again, the presentation too!Customer service - impressive! All the waitresses were friendly and went the extra mile to make sure we had a great time here.Highly recommended if you come to Tauranga.
