We were just served by a very unfriendly and uninterested girl with dark brown hair. She was not wearing a mask, did not greet or acknowledge us at all at the register and did not look me in the eye once the entire exchange.It must be difficult finding staff in remote areas like Te Anau, but I doubt it’s worth sinking to these depths.

It serves petrol. No improvements needed but a service station is a service station so (in my opinion) OK means its means it did its job of being friendly and clean and serving me petrol. I cannot see how a service station could ever be anything better than OK and Ive been in many that certainly havent been OK.

Went there this morning to get coffee as the Bakery was closed for some reason.The guy made us lovely long Blacks - real good coffee! Great start to my day - going back tomorrow.

I always go to Caltex Te Anau. We recommend it to ALL of our guests at Te Anau Homestay. Great staff, Glenn is possibly the happiest service station staff member on the planet. Good vehicle servicing too.

Soon after we filled up our car at Caltex, our engine had misfires due to contaminated petrol but they don’t want to take responsibility for it! Ruined our holidays and costs us more than 1k. We will definitely not use them again.
