Not only is this one of Auckland’s best cafes, it’s a real pleasure having it right around the corner from us. We regularly pop in for flat whites and almond croissants. The coffees and cabinet food are always delicious and well made, plus the staff is incredibly nice and fun. They already feel embedded into the community. Welcome to Eden Terrace and look forward to you being here for years to come!

This is my favourite local coffee spot when I'm at work close by. A sunny haven with great coffee and friendly fast service. Cabinet food is delicious.

Best cafe in Auckland!!! If you want good coffee, treats and a yarn you are in the right place!With beautiful white tiles and wooden blocks it is warm and inviting... you might even meet a kind stranger while you are here ;) ...I have always had a great experience and I love the breakfast bun!

Kind Stranger is the best thing since sliced bread. The coffee is always spot-on, kai is delicious, the service is SO lovely and it’s a great place to meet some doggies. Mate obviously cares about his community and I can’t wait to keep supporting this cafe - it’s the best in Tāmaki!

Kept the passes even when they were scrapped. If you go here you are supporting our vulnerable community. But that's not the only reason to look forward to Kind Stranger, which couldn't be more of fitting name considering the incredibly kind owner. The coffee was very delicious and pricing reasonably reflects operating costs of serving coffee and running an independent, small hospitality business.

my fave cafe, like a second home - amazing coffee and mate is a 5star person and has created a cosy vibe - anyone who gives him 1 star definitely picks their nose and eats it

100% one of auckland's best cafes! The atmosphere is great for friendly hangs or to sit quietly and get some work done. The coffee and food is BANGING and the owner is one of the most genuine and lovely people I've ever met. Would 110% recommend to everyone
