The staff were great and so was the food. We were fortunate to have had a spot on the deck on a beautiful day.I particularly recommend the crudo, although we enjoyed a number of the seafood dishes - but I really want to go back and try the slow roasted shoulder of lamb too....

The Oyster is lovely. The vibe is great and the waiter was so sweet, patient and helpful and also quite fun. The decor and locale are excellent. Wine selection good. Only thing that let our experience down was the main course. 2 of 3 of our party had the pork. It was not as tasty as expected plus we both commented that the expectation was that the pork would be a bit crispy on the outside. Salad was great. Potatoes excellent.

Went for a birthday dinner, luckily they managed to fit us in as we hadn't booked. The food was delicious. The best oysters I've had with mignonette. Service was great and made us feel so welcome. Liked the more 'foodie' dishes over the standard ones (fish and chips) however it was good fish and chips by any standards.

Absolutely fabulous winemakers dinner! Poppies wines were lovely and matched with amazing dishes. 3 plus Michelin stars if they went that high!!

This review is referring to the restaurant. It was one of the best meals I've ever eaten! The service was amazing and the staff is so friendly. I wanted to go back to Waiheke Island the next day just to eat there again. Everything ingredient was super fresh. Craft cocktails are fabulous as well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Wonderful restaurant and a must visit for seafood at Waiheke Island. Great service, beautiful well mannered staff, offering some of the greatest dining service we had on our weekend stay, thank you!

If you are looking for a an arrogant treatment by the restaurant manager that’s the place for you. Booked initially for 4 people, amended literally after 10 minutes to 5 people and when we came in, the restaurant manager told us that she did not have 5 seats and we had to leave or just 4 of us could seat…ridiculous! If don’t want more customers, that’s the right behavior. Food was good, overpriced for an average Sunday lunch. Probably they can afford this behavior being one of the few restaurants in town, if it was somewhere else it’d be already closed.

Beautiful meal with exceptional service by the lovely Italian Waitress. Well done to the whole team for a great experience. Will book earlier next time so can get right out on the balcony.

Took visiting family to Waiheke and knew from previous visits that the Oyster Inn was the place to take them for lunch. The food and service was amazing with perfect recommendation of wines to match. The Local Oysters are definitely worth it and all of our mains were truly stunning. A great spot to visit for a nice lunch or dinner overlooking the amazing scenery.

Four of us dined in the restaurant. View is wonderful, service very friendly but slow at times, although restaurant was pretty busy so wait was acceptable.Food was delicious and beautifully presented and there was a an excellent range of drinks, including zero alcohol beers. Lots of wine options by the glass, but alcohol was pretty expensive. Our major dislike was the number of dogs in the restaurant. We had two mid-large dogs on one side and and a small quiet dog on the other. One of the big dogs kept barking and it was on a fairly long leash tied to a pole supporting the balcony roof. Both of our friends are nearing 90 and one is quite unsteady walking. The dog went to meet our friend as he arrived, and it could have caused a very nasty fall. All four of us love dogs and we have dogs of our own but I don’t think having them in a restaurant is acceptable. Will definitely go back to the restaurant but will check out the dog situation first.
