Lake View Seafood Restaurant
We booked a table for our Vow Renewal dinner celebration. 9 Adults and 4 children. We left after dinner feeling absolutely disgusted that Sam did nothing but annoyingly try to on sell Duck and Salmon even though we were already paying $48 per adult head plus kids meals and beverages. Then to top it off the food was average and barely enough to feed us all. It got to the point of embarrassing us in front of our guests. It really was inappropriate behaviour and for that reason we won't go back.

Good food and service here. The decor of this restaurant is beautiful and also has a full bar attached. We tried the chicken chow mein, spicy chicken, sweet corn soup and hot and sour soup, Fish in picked vegetables and chilli pork

We took the banquet since there were 13 of us. We all sat on a large round table that had one of the biggest lazy Susan I’ve seen. The food was good and was varied. The fish was fried nicely and the crispy pork was good too. Service was also good.

Lake View Seafood Restaurant
Authentic and delicious Chinese and Cantonese dishes using local seafood and produce. Their roast duck and roast pork is amazing and they do a special kina (sea urchin) fried rice too! Beautiful interior design and spacious with a covered outdoor area perfect for a sunny day.

As a Chinese, I would say this is the worst food I've ever tried in my life. I've always wondered how bad a chicken could be cooked, and now I know. It was far drier than the beef jerky and not at all fresh! Even though I asked for a new one, the later one was even worse, with some chicken bones mixed in like leftovers. The scallops were considerably worse; they were just frozen grocery store purchases which can be easily told from the texture 真的踩了大雷

I was impressed by the Sterling reviews-do much so my wife and I simply had to go.We had Chicken and sweetcorn soup, A bbq pork chow mein and a combination seafood fried rice. We also ordered a bottle of NZ white wine.We arrived around just before 6:30pm and we’re 2 of 16 dinners in an establishment that will seat around some 100 guests.The soup came out very smartly followed in no short order by the mains -which made us hurry the soup so we could start the main before the mains got cold.The Chicken and sweetcorn soup was a little underwhelming and whilst I’m no expert I’ve had my share and this soup appeared to be a chicken broth with some sweetcorn added just before serving-which resulted in some chicken broth and some sweetcorn but no meeting of the two.A little disappointing but there was enough for the two of us to share.Now, we have the two mains getting cold.These dishes were okay but nothing that would have me informing prospective future dinners “you need to eat at this establishment”A little disappointed but worth a generous 3 at best.Would I eat at this establishment again-sadly no!I informed the staff and they said sorry.Price was not the issue (28.00! Mains)- real flavourful food for that spend -sorry no -very average.Very nice view of the lake-just a shame we couldn’t eat it?
