Putangirua Pinnacles Scenic Reserve
awesome place and amazing view.I would really recommend going there.Also the landscape in this area is just stunning. Next to it is another viewing place for the seal colony's and of course the cape palliser lighthouse.

Putangirua Pinnacles Scenic Reserve
Followed the trail on the riverbed so i could get up close to the Pinnacles. I can imagine that after heavy rains this trail can be tricky due to many river crossings. Overall a relatively easy walk.

Putangirua Pinnacles Scenic Reserve
Amazing to see. But certainly not an easy climb up through the dry stream bed! People of all ages were giving it a go though and it was lovely to share the experience. My old body is sore but I've ticked something else off my bucket list.

Putangirua Pinnacles Scenic Reserve
Really beautiful walk along the Ridgeline to a viewing platform over the pinnacles.Dog friendly. Definatley reccomend going up the ridgeline and returning down the stream as thats by far the best way to walk it, as the track is easy to follow up the ridgeline but the stream return track has loads of different tracks all over the place. return track along the stream was pretty rough but still a lovely walk.

Putangirua Pinnacles Scenic Reserve
One of the easiest trekking route. There is a loop for pinnacle trek, there are two routes river ridge and stream bed. Start from river ridge and end returning from stream bed. If you start stream bed then for pinnacle lookout point the last 300 m is bit small stone slippery and stiff slope to up climb. Overall it takes nearly 2 hrs with good scenic captures.
