Food was excellent, as was initial service, but the latter deteriorated. The waitress clear one plate, but left the other four, and went back to chatting with the other staff. She only returned when we asked for the dessert menu. She didn't tell us that there were limited options until we ordered puddings which were unavailable, which was disappointing. I felt as if the staff needed better training in customer service.

This was the best meal we have had in 2 and a half weeks in New Zealand, one we will remember for a long time to come. Our server, Keesha (sp?), was terrific — prompt, helpful with suggestions but not overbearing, and Kiwi friendly — and her warm welcome set the tone. We ordered Good George Fog City Hazy IPAs (excellent!) and the ribeye with slaw and fries. Keesha suggested the mushroom sauce for the steak, and it was an outstanding addition to the perfectly cooked piece of beef. We topped off the meal with 2 more hazies then the Skillet cookie with ice cream and caramel sauce. Yum. All of it was delicious, the ambience was nice, and the service was exemplary.

Relaxing atmosphere in a bar with some grilled foods as well as other pub food. Serving food at for different times, meaning people staying eating at different times.. Not that comfortable, especially as one of them was the stone grill.Nice concept for people who like to grill their own food, but annoying if foods do not come in the right order.

Had dinner here tonight and honestly what a lovely evening we had. The food was incredible and our waitress was the best I wish we got her name so she could’ve acknowledged :) anyway we will be back for sure.

Amazing place to get a meal.Super friendly and welcoming staff. Great selection of beers.Had the Mince on Toast for Brunch, probably the best one in the country.

Great venue. Lovely background music. Fantastic waitress - great job Tayla ( and no, not related or a friend or anything). And the food…. just fantastic. Lots of variety, everything for the dedicated carnivore to the pristine vegan ( probably does favour the former). Good value for money as well.

A Craft Bar without any craft beer! This was our first night in Dunedin and we chose this place because of good Google reviews. What a mistake.We were seated half heartedly - the place was quiet. I asked for a craft beer flight and got told we don't have any craft beer on draft because the cellar's too warm". It was a balmy 10 degrees celsius outside. I spent 30 seconds picking out a bottle of craft beer and got told "you're gonna hate me - we don't have that one either - can't get it from the suppliers". The choice
